That said, don't buy it, and I really hope that the Maloofs don't consider Cousins a disastrous pick. If things were really that bad with him behind the scenes I think a little more than what's leaked would have leaked by now. I also hope they don't just outright fire Petrie, but it sounds like he's already thinking of winding it down so that might effect things in that area.

I actually wouldn't mind Bill Walton as coach!!! Just from hearing him commentate he at least recognizes how this team should be playing. He would completely favor the bigs though.

I'm all for Charles Barkley for GM too.

I know the Whisenant idea will get bashed as always but I say, what the hell. At least if they finally do it we won't have to hear his name every time this team is in flux.

Sure why not. Gotta do something. I sort of like the idea of Bill Walton as coach.
Also fire Jim Gray and bring back Kayte or Koz.

Not happy if they are honestly just going to stick with Westphal without considering another way. The rest I'm kind of relieved about but this team is headed in the wrong direction on the court, not necessarily off the court IMO. The positives he mentioned are there, the rest is not.

I think it'll be bitter sweet if it really does happen. I'm all for it, but I can't help but think what type of message -- good or bad -- is sent to DMC if PW is fired. Is he above the coach? His actions don't matter, because ownership will always side with him?

Now, I really do side with DMC and feel he's the scapegoat for PW. I see that he does need direction and he acts immature, but I can't stand to see DMC get punished for bad play, while Tyreke gets away with shooting contested three's, when he has no business shooting them.

I have a small conspiracy that Evans is only playing this bad to get Westfail failed, and as soon as a new coach is brought in, he'll immediately play like he did last year!

I hope not. That would be a huge character flaw, and seperate him from the truely great athletes who have the undying will to compete and win.

This doesn't look credible at all. What a shame.
