The Kings today recalled center Hassan Whiteside from the Reno Bighorns of the D-League, it was announced by Geoff Petrie. Per @sacramentokings twitter!

No. Grant said he wasnt getting enough playing time, so they just recalled him back.
Hopefully he gets garbage time minutes.

Eric Mussleman is the head coach of a D-league team whose two affiliates are the only two teams to ever hire and fire him.

What I'm hearing is that he has a vendetta against the Kings. Point being, Hassan wasn't getting a good enough opportunity.

When Jeremy Lin is getting more minutes than you, you know the coach has something against you.

I guess we can't send anybody to the D-League ever again. Thanks Musslehead.

Anyways I like seeing WHITESIDE brought up give him at least 5 minutes a game playing time lets all see more of what he can do .
Though he might not be NBA ready lets see where he is at it cant hurt right now we have no shot at the playoffs .
It could be a sign of a deal soon though I doubt thats the main reason he is being brought up .
This is the time of year alot of players get 10 day contracts ( though Whiteside gets paid either way on a guaranteed contract !
I am happy either way WHITESIDE is being brought up .

Jeremy Lin is averaging about 18 points. TBH Hassan is bad on offense and he looks lost sometimes thats why he wasn't getting alot of playing time.

Did i hear Grant say he will not join the team until after the road trip? If true why not fly him out to the team?

Yoda does not go on the long road trips.

This is why I hate the d league system. Some teams get their own teams while others share. I know it's about money, but it should be all get their own affiliate so that when players are sent down they can develop how the team sees fit.

I think the ones that have their own team actually fronted the money and own the team. So there's the difference. I don't see the Maloofs buying their own D-league team anytime soon.
