This does not mean the team is moving. The contract with Arco is over after this year so there needed to be a new sponsor.

right after powerbalance comes out and says that their product doesn't do anything....second thought maybe it's fitting.

I would've been happier with something like the Kotex Coliseum.

This is about the most pathetic move I have ever seen in all of pro sports! I guess in one way maybe this is a sign of just how little hope there is for corporate support for the Kings. If the only company they can get to put money into naming rights is a scam business from SoCal, then there really must be no hope for corporate sponsorship in Sacto. Either that or the Maloofs are going so far off the deep end so quickly that the state needs to step in and put them into an insane asylum.

lmao, I've always wanted to use that "Mr-T" emotion. Unfortunately, I never found the right time or place to use it.

On the other hand. I think the reason the mods locked your thread up. Wasn't because of the fact that yours was later/earlier. But rather, because, his thread had more posts. So I guess it made more since to lock yours up. Although, you were way earlier.. and had the better thread. (you wrote a lot more in yours)

At least Amway markets real products. Plus, when you consider the fact that the team's owner was one of the guys that started Amway, it's a logical move that the arena has that name.

Official press release says "Power Balance Pavilion" not "arena." Sounds a lot better.
