The second foul on Cuz was just dumb on his part.

Anyway, we're playing alright over all. We can play a lot better though.

Yeah, and then his other fetish for taking charges gets him again! We desperately need a guy next to Reke that can keep his man out of the paint a little better. It'd be different if we had Dalembert as our C, but Cousins is too valuable offensively to pick up fouls trying to defend constant penetration.

Right, or Demarcus could just break his bad habits defensively. He has to a large extent. He just needs to keep improving.

Not that I would be against better perimeter D.

hmmm no clear floor general! We really need a guy to get these guys in the right position on the floor. Beno and Tyreke only want to score or hope a double team comes so they can kick out

If you sleep on Beno, he can drop 30/10 on you.

The problem is that all the guys in the frontcourt are continuously having to leave their man to slide over and it consistently leaves an open man on the court. Every game if Beno gets screened, we're dust.

Hmmmm...Cousins looked pretty good in that role for the chances he got to be the guy. Go figure.

Then someone should tell Sam to stop fouling all over the place. Oh wait, he's not.

Dribble penetration is going to happen. Cuz needs to get better at doing the right thing when it does.

A floor general isn't the same thing as a playmaker. Cuz is a very gifted playmaker, but a big part of being the floor general, by definition, is taking the ball up the court. You can't have your center doing that consistently for obvious reasons.

I'm liking that right there. Westphal is sending less guys to the defensive boards and we're getting some better open court opportunities. Exactly what I've been wanting to see. On the other end however, don't like Beno crashing the offensive glass, what's the point?

Why do we play better when we're losing than when we're leading?

It really is like somebody who has been a victim of abuse. When they finally get into a good relationship, they try to sabotage it because they're not used to joy. They've grown up learning to be hurt by things, so they repeat the behavior later on.

I look foward to these games every day we have one. Even though they are hard to watch it is exciting watching young players grow even we are constantly losing
