There was no official timeline given, but the estimate right before the all star break was 3 weeks. He should be back towards the middle of the month, unless his treatment doesn't go well.

the way Thornton is playing, do you think the Kings should rest Reke this season?

If Tyreke will be fully recovered within the next couple of weeks, then yes, I think they should play him.

We need to get an idea of how he and Thornton fit together, as well as how he fits in with a fully healthy Kings team. That will hopefully help us figure out how much we're willing to pay Thornton after the season if we decide to keep him. He's a restricted free agent as season's end, so other teams might come calling.

Any word if he will return this week or next?

I want to see Tyreke play one more time in a Kings jersey.
