i dont like barnes, im a big fan of terrence jones, i want kings to draft jones but lately jones game is dropping and harrison barnes played great. today barnes drops 40 pts WOW.

if kings draft barnes, how do you rate this young big 3, REKE/DMC/BARNES?

if we draft sf in 1st round, kings need to draft pg in 2nd round...how about deron williams clone demetry mccarney?

It depends on where we are drafting.. 1-3, or 4-6. I think I am going to hold off on who my favorite is until the tourney... Lets see what they are made of.

BARNES....DRAFT STOCK....RISING....

Seriously, I'm really starting to like this draft class. I'd be happy with any of Sullinger, Barnes, T. Jones, Irving, Walker, or Williams. My top 5 right now is Irving, Sullinger, T. Jones, Barnes, and Williams.

Barnes started off slow early into the season and I doubted Barnes if he was a top-5 pick but lately, he is making me eat crow. He looks very, very good right now.

If the Kings manage not to get Irving, I wouldn't mind a guy like Barnes. The Kings are now projected at #2 in the draft. Top-5 at worst. They will likely to add another great piece to the core we have right now. And adding Barnes into the mix would be great.

No Jones , No Barnes , No sullinger .
Either we draft K.IRVING if not K.WALKER if neither of those 2 we should trade the pick.

If the KINGS are moving for sure I say we trade the Maloofs . :)

Derrek Williams is guarding a 7' today.. nice to see what he can do against a bigger player since he is considered undersized

I think Derrick Williams is a SF not a PF. His size suggests the ability to play PF but I really like him at SF and if we draft him he could play both spots in a Jamison sort of way. IF we go SF i'm Torn between Williams and Barnes at this point. I would rather we went with a PG but our guard rotation may be fine at this point we just need to see how the trio of Udrih, Thornton, and Evans work together.

Derrick Williams is a better offense, less defense Shawn Marion.

Honestly, I can see any of Barnes, Sullinger, Williams, Walker, Knight, or Terrence Jones being great fits for this team.

Sullinger/Cuz = a team that Westphal would have wet dreams over considering how he likes to repeatedly post up both of his bigs. We'd own the boards EVERY night and just crush teams inside.

Williams would be a great combo F that would help stretch the floor next to Cousins and give us size and offensive punch as a SF.

T. Jones is the same, more defense though.

Barnes is probably the most pure wing to come out in a long time. Legit SG/SF with the shooting and size to match. The type of player that will fit on any team regardless of style.

Right now, the kings need stability in pg and sf positions.
K. Irving i think is the best pg in the draft but right now kemba walker is more suited for the kings with his shooting, speed and maturity.
Kemba walker - beno udrih
Tyreke evans - marcus thorton
Omri casspi - garcia, donte
Jason thompson - whiteside
Demarcus cousins - sammy

With that line up it is already solid, imagine if the kings could still add an all star sf like granger or josh smith.

this is my view based on Kings need.....

1. Irving- perfect fit. major upgrade at pg. can score when needed but looks to distribute. also takes pride in defense. by far the number 1 pick for Kings

2. Williams- will be a SF in the NBA who can also play PF if you went small ball. Total package. great offense and decent defense. marion comparison is pretty good but i think his ceiling is higher. high iq and engine and total game.

3. Barnes- looks like a stud in the NBA. will be a great addition an plays good on both ends. not as developed as williams. but serious potential , and good pick for kings if irving and williams are gone

4. jones, sullinger, walker- all decent players but not good fits IMO. jones is kind of like marvin williams (not impressed), sullinger is a slightly smaller carl landry on offense but can rebound better. not worth a top 5 pick no way. walker is awesome but wouldnt fit here. he has to have the ball in his hands and is a primary scorer not distributor. would not fit next to tyreke. sucks cause i really like him. if we didnt have tyreke he would be solid 2 behind irving on my board.

those are my views and i am a genious.

i have been posting this all week on the trade forum. i want Josh Smith or Danny Granger. Not sure about Walker fit on Kings. I really like him but he seems like a primary ball handler/scorer which is what Tyreke is. It might work but I just dont see it working for some reason even though Walker is maybe my favorite guy in this draft.

Please someone prove to me that I am wrong. I really Walker but scared of the fit in the backcourt next to Evans.

GRANGER or SMITH!!!!!!

good that you add knight on your list. this kid is very underated, im not surprise if knight is one of the best rookie next season. knight is youngest player in college, a junior brandon knight is 3x better than junior kemba walker. terence jones is sec freshman of the year but most kentucky fans thinks that knight deserve sec freshman of the year than jones and thats not bias opinion because jones also played in kentucky. knight game realy fits the nba, hes game also fit for tyreke and cousins. tyreke is ball dominating player, knight can be effective without dominating the ball because he can shoot outside, he can also spread the floor for cousins inside game. we dont need another guard who dominates the ball, its not working with tyreke, imagine kobe and iverson in one team, wont work. if we need sf i'll go with barnes or tjones, derrick williams is too slow to guard quick sf and too soft / small to guard pf

Everything these kids have done to this point is important BUT none of that matters now.. The tourney shows who is made for the next level and who should have stayed home.. I refuse to consider anyone top 5 until after the championship.

Whoa, whoa, whoa...one MAJOR difference there. Jones is actually productive, and productive in a lot of the same areas we need help in. He's closer to Odom/Jamison than Marvin Williams. I wouldn't be surprised to see him come out as the 2nd best player in the draft in time. Unless you're talking about P. Jones.

Sullinger is not smaller than Landry. He's not tall but the dude is Sir Charles-like in his vastness.

Walker can play off the ball too. Doesn't do it a whole lot, but I've seen him really make you think you're watching a young Rip sometimes.
