Thunder @ Kings

Post#1 » by pillwenney » Mon Apr 11, 2011 9:14 pm

Going to be a very tough game. Thunder have a lot to play for and have been outstanding as of late.

But it's supposedly Here We Stay night #2, and it's on national TV (kinda. I mean who really watches NBATV?).

Oh, and I'll be sitting behind the bench. 8-)

F*ck Kobe and Pierce
Thornton is the most clutch player in the NBA.
He's 11-for-22 from the field and 3-for-5 from 3-point range in the last three minutes of games with a score differential of three points or less (From John Schuhmann, NBA.com)
Hopefully Kings can be competitive tonight and use the crowd to tie last year.

It will be interesting to see how Cousins does against Perkins. He's struggled against elite defenders hopefully he can use his skill and IQ against Perk.

To everyone going to the game, ENJOY AND HAVE FUN!

Went to the Warriors game yesterday and screamed my lungs out. It was awesome to get a win at Oracle. If the Maloofs do indeed take the Kings elsewhere next season, I can say that the Sacramento Kings won the last game of this nor-cal rivalry.

League Pass's blackout restrictions are the biggest load of crap on the planet. I seriously might not buy this next year. I can't watch because this game is on NBA TV? Stupid.

Wow Cousins with 20 FT attempts and there's still 3 minutes to go? Craziness. He hit 17 too. I hate you League Pass for not letting me witness this.

Following the box, it looks like the Kings gave a valiant effort against one of the top teams in the league, and without Tyreke. Cousins with 30 points off 12 FG attempts? Nooo

Really would have liked to have gotten the win tonight, but it was really a great atmosphere and our guys fought valiantly. Cousins played great. Would have been really interesting to see how things went with Tyreke. I honestly don't know how much he's helping our offense recently, but it sure would have been nice to have him on Westbrook.

The game was basically closer than the score. There was a stretch where they fully outplayed us and got ahead a little and then it was very even for the rest of the game. They weren't playing down to their competition either. This was an elite team playing with full focus and effort and our guys really stayed with them.

Anyway, if anybody recorded it, I've been told you can see me. I turned out to not actually be directly behind the Kings bench--rather directly behind the people right next to the Kings bench.

It was a pretty emotional night, but I can't imagine it'll compare to Wednesday.
