How do you guys feel about Caron Butler as our answer at the 3 spot?

It seems to me that GP is targeting a PG in the draft to play in the Evans/Thornton/Udrih rotation. I get the impression that our weakness at SF will be answered in FA. I have heard Chandler, Prince, Kirlenko, Battier all mentioned but never a mention of Butler.

Any interest?

Butler would be a great addition. Fact of the matter is, he is playing on a team in the Finals. NO way he leaves Dallas without making a run first. He is experienced enough to realize the good situation he is in.

Butler's always seemed a little overrated to me.

I also remember hearing multiple stories about him being a knuclehead.

I can think of at least 5 or 6 guys I much rather have.

Chandler is the only play I want to see on the Kings. I wanted him since the TMac trade

How about Thaddeus Young... Is he still up for grabs? I'd rank him #2 on my list (Behind Chandler).

Young is more a PF these days, a SF playing PF but his long range game is far from consistent. Interesting player at PF, not so much at SF.
