http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/21 ... _In_FeltonI like Raymond Feloton and think he would be a good fit with tyreke. Im guessing a package would including omri or JT. I would still rather Kemba but this would probably mean we would go for kawhi Leonard.
Felton
tyreke
leonard
Couisins
Dally
6 man Thorton
Thats not bad IMO.

Why Casspi over Greene? I like Donte's willingness to embrace the backup role and his enthusiasm. I just feel Casspi has more upside than Greene though. Would love to hear what others say though.
And I would do Udrih and Greene/Casspi for Felton.

id go greene over casspi....casspi brings a lot more energy which i what someone off the bench should bring.

I'd defintely rather trade Greene than Casspi. However why would Denver want Beno? If Lawson is their guy then why would they want to pay a lot of money for Beno to be a back up. We don't even like paying him that much and he is our starter lol.

I'm thinking Denver may be looking to move Felton due to salary reasons. Yes, he's expiring but they like Lawson & they also have Afflalo, Chandler & Nene to take into consideration as free agents this summer that they may want to resign.
I'd prefer moving Casspi over Greene. Difference between the two is attitude. Casspi has already bitched while Greene appears to be a good guy always leading the cheerleading from the bench even if he isn't getting PT. Neither are our SF of the future.
And check this tweet from Casspi...
Sacramento traded me to the Israeli Air Force.
WTF does this mean? Maybe because he's heard his name mentioned in trade rumors? I don't think he wants to be here.

Until either proves to be a starter Greene can play more positions.

Energy is one of those things that is over rated. To me it's one of those things you say about a person who doesn't have a role. If they had a role you'd say "he's a scorer, or he adds defense, or rebounds." When you dub a person as an energy guy to me it's like saying "I like this guy and it works, but I don't quite know what he does out there."
I just like Greene's versatility as opposed to Casspi's energy.

^^Arguably, you want the more versatile player coming off the bench.
But in any case, it's close enough for me that it's kinda like "whoever Denver wants." I would love Felton here. He has improved his outside shot enough to play next to Tyreke and he's basically a veteran at this point that knows how to run a team.

Exactly. The consensus is neither guy is going to be
the man at the SF starting. When Garcia is healthy to me he is the clear starter at that position here. Greene is the better role player. I also think if the Kings just let Donte Greene play free instead of defining what he is he'd be a jack of all trades type and can really just do what's needed that night.

Much better than the Andre Miller rumors that were floating around earlier. Felton is decent and could provide some leadership so I like it

Damn, sounds like the Kings are really, really shopping the hell out of Beno! Could that mean Walker or Jimmer it is!?
Guys, you have to look at the big picture, this isn't about Miller or Felton, this is about expiring $$$. Sure both would be solid additions but this is all to get out of long term contracts so I doubt the Kings are able to dump Beno for either.

IMO now is a good time to shop Beno, his value may never be higher and he's not going to be the long term back court mate for Evans, might as well see what might be available for trade.

How do you guys feel about a #7 for #22 pick swap in a Felton deal with Denver? As a Nuggets fan, that's the only way a trade happens, IMO.
Udrih has one more year on his contract than Felton does, and Greene/Casspi would be playing behind both Gallinari and Wilson Chandler. Without the picks, Denver has no incentive to trade with Sacramento.

Hmmm...ball dominant guard next to Evans and Cousins for a top 10 pick? Nah, doubtful Kings sign off on that one.
Are you sure Wilson Chandler will be back? I would imagine he'll be on the Kings radar too.

I'd rather have Kemba...and it looks like the raptors are passing on him from what I read...Kemba is a much better prospect than Leonard or Jimmer.

The value just isn't quite there for me. Add another future lotto protected 1st or something like that, and I think I'd do it.

I see a lot of Beno in Felton... RF is the better player for sure, but not worth swapping 1st round picks with Denver

I disagree...after thinking about it...I would swap the picks for Felton...he is still young but can be a leader and we know what he can do...there is a TON of uncertainty in this draft. IF Kemba is there, then have have a big decision...but I like the trade...felton would look really good with reke and thornton.
