So I'm curious... After Salmons is amnestied from this team, I was wandering which amnestied(probably will be) you guys will be interested in...

Also,

With a lineup of:
5. Cousins/ Whiteside
4. Thompson/ Hickson
3. Garcia/ Honeycutt / Green
2. Tyreke/ Thorton
1. Jimmer/ Isiah

What FA will the Kings go after, and how much cap space with and without Salmons amnestied...

the kings won't be using an amnesty on salmons, we traded down in the draft to get him, We view him as our starting SF and actually targeted him.

I rather have Salmons and see what he can do for this team. The Kings have to lowest payroll, especially if Dally leaves. I don't see the need to amnesty anyone.

Geoff Petrie never wanted to trade Salmons in the first place, there's no way he uses it on Salmons. They clearly WANTED Salmons otherwise they wouldn't have done that trade.

Kings are going to keep Salmons until a permanent replacement at SF is figured out. I don't think he would be a target for amnesty. Like SKZZ said, Petrie wanted Salmons all along.

And you have to note that the Kings' SF production last year was absolutely horrid. There were only like, two other teams that had a worse situation than the Kings at that position. Salmons is a competent fit at SF.

Ok so Salmons is safe.. Is there anybody that you would be interested in if they were amnestied?

No. Garcia may have a bad contract but he is a leader on this team and if he can stay healthy he is a good backup.

I'm not an expert about the whole amnesty thing myself but if amnesty is given within the span of two years, the Kings could watch and see if Salmons can integrate with the team for a whole season, if not, they could amnestied him after the season.

It's essentially "leasing" Salmons for a year if things goes wrong.
