Darko + Cash for nothing?

Just curious what you guys thought about this deal.
Minnesota trades:
Darko, $3 million
Sacramento trades:
protected 2nd round pick (aka nothing).
Darko is a great shot blocker, and a good overall defensive center. He's a terrible offensive player overall, but a decent passer. His 3rd year is non-guaranteed, so you basically have him for 2 years at $5 mil per, with a $2 mil buyout the 3rd year. With $3 mil in cash, it becomes basically 2 years, $9 mil.
I figure Sacramento is rebuilding and doesn't want to add major salary just yet. Darko fits well for 2 years as a stopgap C (possibly starting next to Cousins, otherwise off the bench) and give the Wolves enough cap space to sign Jordan/Nene/Gasol at C. For us it's a no brainer if one of them agrees to sign in the off season.
Nene/Randolph/Pekovic
Love/Tolliver
Beasley/Williams
Johnson/Webster
Rubio/Ridnour/Lee
Does it make sense for Sacramento?
