Denver is a team that has no real stars; however, they are a young athletic deep team. They play at a fast pace, share the ball well, and constantly sub. No one on Denver averages more than 10 FGA. Against Sacramento tonight, all twelve players scored with the highest being 15 and the low of 6. This is an extremely balance unselfish attack.

Sacramento is a very young athletic team. They have no all stars yet, the run constant isolation plays and average very few assists a game.

Is there any reason Sacramento couldn't steal Denver's offense???

Well, they're supposedly not trying to run the "system" that they are now. The "system" they are trying to run should be one that consistently brings you into the top half of the league at least in apg on a bad night. Problem is he thinks that means it's completely freelance when it couldn't be more opposite.

The Kings would probably be well off emulating any team that had an offense.

I think the Kings should run as much as they can but in the half court I think 2 systems would work

The Princeton due to the skills of JT & Cousins- Cousins would have to become more consistent with his jumper but their passing skill relate well to the Princeton. Plus, Reke likes to get to the rim and finish of course his jumper would need to improve but ultimately the offense looks to get layups. Thornton adds the the shooting aspect and Fredette would definitely excel in this offense.

I also like the Triangle for this team. Cousins can post and so can Reke, Thornton can shoot it along with Fredette and Salmons. Reke and Thornton can slash and create which lends itself to the triangle.

The important thing to remember about both these offenses is that you don't need the prototypical PG for it to be successful which the Kings don't have.

I just don't think the strength of this team is as a running team, that's how Westphal started and it just wasn't the best way to use two unbelievable half court talents like Cousins and Evans.

Please tell me your kidding...sorry byt Gallo, Nene, and Lawson have all proven thus far to be more consistent then Cousins.

I'm talking strictly in terms of talent and the term "offensive" is subjective. Right now the Kings are potential based and if you want to argue pure "offensive" talent, I'm going to go Cousins all day, every day. If I'm a coach looking to win games now and stability, I'd for sure be going for the Nuggets roster. But the argument started above deals directly in talent for talent comparisons. Like I said, all day, every day.
