Just came up on the wiretap. Kevin Love suspended for the next to games for stepping on Luis Scola's face. Looks like the Kings catch a break. Hope they can make it work for them!

Not a bad thing but this just means more minutes for Beasley and DWill, both tough matchups for Thompson and Hayes. Pekovic has been balling lately as well. Kings still cant take them lightly.

This just means DMC and JT will dominate the glass like they did verse the GS Warriors.

And they like to call Cousins a head case...

I would rather have had Love play simply because if he were to have played and we won it would better tell us were we are at in terms of our team improving . With a teams biggest star player out it doesnt exactly tell us the same info.

Meh, a win is a win at this point.

I disagree simply because we already have almost no shot at the playoffs .
Though I do not want to see us or think we will tank the season at all I would rather play against each teams best players as a true test of our teams true growth . When other teams players are injured we
dont really get the real facts of our teams growth .

No, that's the life in the NBA. There will be ALOT of times where teams don't have key player(s) every night. We can't discredit a win because a team didn't have X player.
I get what you are saying but I don't think we should look at it that way. Considering everything in mind. (we are a young team, not much experienced in winning, new coach, etc etc).
Wins are wins.

A 4 game winning streak will be a wonderful thing.

We played against a ton of teams missing their best, or 2nd best players, early in the season and we lost those games. So that doesn't mean we'll win...but under Smart, I certainly feel more confident.

I have to discredit this as a foolish statement akin to throwing out the baby with the bath water. While I do not advocate making a "run for the playoffs" trade that is a short term move as we obviously are not a CONTENDING team yet, you NEVER just kiss off a season. We have by far the most favorable schedule in the second half of the season including a NINE GAME home stand! If we can manage to come into the break within 5 to 7 games of .500, we have an excellent shot at the playoffs. Even if they do not make it, you should never just throw out the value of learning to feeling of WINNING. And a win IS a win regardless of who did and did not play that night.

I don't even want the imagine what would go on in GB and in general around the NBA if Big-Cuz did that instead of Love.

Fair or not, Cousins has established a reputation. Love doesn't have that reputation, but it still didn't stop people from calling him a thug, scum, and demanding a 10 game suspension.

Lol @ "established a reputation". People put that on him before
he even entered the league.
It's all BS

It's all BS
and why was it put on him before he entered the league?
Did he not get into a fight with Donte Greene?
Did he not give a choke sign against the Warriors?
Did he not clash with the coaching staff?
You act as though any questions about his character is a completely unwarranted.
He is obviously a great talent, but saying that he has established a reputation should not produce laughter. It just shouldn't.

Who doesn't fight with their teamate from time to time?
And a yelling match with the coach? Yeah.... that never happens
I mean, really. People labeling him as a headcase is soooo over
the top. He's immature, and currently maturing under a new coach. THAT
is all.
