Jerry's Fresh Thoughts are exactly what I've been thinking lately. Thomas is playing better than Brandon Knight and Kemba Walker, easily. I wouldn't go as far as saying he's playing as well as Irving, but ESPN's recent rookie rankings are dead-on putting Thomas at #2 right now. His play in that Boston game--10 assists--hopefully got more people's attention around the country.

JT! "Gee whiz" indeed. 3 point play and 9 and 7 at the half.

What a game! Team basketball, thank you very much.
Donte with the sports center REJECTION on Kevin Love.
Honeycutt with the fast break one-handed slam IN BEASLEY's FACE.
Thompson more than picking up the slack for Cousins' off game.

It's disturbing to me to see how much better our ball movement is without evans in the lineup. I wonder if this could lead to some sort of consolidation move with Evans on the way out in the off season

Boring game, best part was Love and JJ almost killing each other on the bench, anyone get the video of that ?

I feel the same way. I think there's a lot gained offensively when four guys just aren't standing around watching Evans do his thing. These last two games, guys who usually get no touches are getting the chance to get into rhythm, contribute, and wear the defense down in different ways. We had 5 guys in double figures today--and Cousins wasn't even one of them--and 5 guys in double figures against the Celtics. On the season, we have 3 guys averaging double figures. And, especially with our young guys, when they're involved offensively, they're more active on defense and more willing to contribute on that end. I know it's only two games, but I really like the brand of basketball I'm seeing with Evans absent.

Re: TWolves @ Kings
Boring? I thought it was fantastic. When this team moves the ball it's like night and day.
Also nice to see Outlaw get some minutes. Didn't play great but he's learning how to and getting the chance to contribute.
Worst game I think we've seen in Cousins' career. Definitely hitting the wall here in the last few weeks.
JT with another strong game, under control, just energy personified.
IT hasn't cooled off from downtown. The dude is just nuts from outside, if he's open, it's automatic. What a find by Petrie.
Nice to finally see Hayes get time one of the guys he was supposedly brought in to defend. Question is, is Smart putting two and two together yet?
Marcus Thornton is taking the lead of this team, hmmmm....notice any similarities to last year? Reke goes down, Marcus comes in and as a number 1 option he puts the team on his back and carries them. Way too early, but I'll be interested to see how the year pans out because by draft time there might be some questions being asked.

Re: TWolves @ Kings
Beat a very old team in the Celts and a very bad team without Rubio or Pek in the Wolves. Lets not go too crazy about Evans impact or whatnot.

Re: TWolves @ Kings
I could care less about the win. in fact the win does more harm than good. I'm talking about the problem of ball movement. I have assumed for a while now that Thornton was a major hindrance to ball movement. And sure he has proven that he can still be a selfish player, case in point the blown 2 on 1 situation where he should have passed to Jimmer. But, there is much better ball movement when we only have one of Thornton and Evans on the court. I don't know which one we move, I have been in the camp of moving thornton because he's undersized but Honestly I just don't know. Either way I think one of them is gone this summer.

we could but do you honestly see that happening. Fact is if I"m petrie I don't trust my coaches to make the right personnel decisons. So I take the choices out of their hands, especially with smarts sub patterns.

Re: TWolves @ Kings
It wasn't just beating Boston and Minnesota. Both games were blowouts. And like others said, it's more the way the team is playing. They're moving the ball so much better than they were before, playing with high energy. This is what happens when others are involved (i.e. we don't have Tyreke running the show).

Why the flying fk are we winning?
goddamit. this is just shooting ourselfs in the foot with W's that are worth as we all know **** and hurt us more then they help.. thats so frustrating.. the diffrence between being the 4th worst record and the 8th-9th worst record is so small, we need to LOOSE.
God this team sucks even at that.
