The guy still can draft. I have to believe that Jimmer was a Maloof pick but his signings and trades leaves something to be desired.

Sooooo this gets a.....

Basically agree. I'm not thrilled with a lot of what he's done, but who else are we going to get?

I thought Petrie and the coaches all wanted Knight but the Maloofs wanted Jimmer for the money.

Sigh.....when are we going to put some heat on this guy to make this team better!! We place heat on coaches to get the team to play at an all star level EVERY YEAR!! But fire them left right and center! If you keep extending Petrie and saying to reporters "Oh we want him here forever" when do you think he'll get it that we aren't happy with the job he's doing if your singing his praise for mediocrity!

If you sleep on Beno, he can drop 30/10 on you.

^Shall remain until this happens

Good call, you can't go changing direction half way through a rebuild. If you do that you end up like the Twolves, McHale set that team up real nice after the KG trade, got bombed on for trading Mayo for Love, got his team in a good spot and then got canned. Set that team back a few years at least and it's a good example of the kind of guy that could replace him. If Petrie drafted Udoh over Cousins, you fire him. This team is improving and it's still more about style and identity right now more than anything else.

He was already signed through 2012-2013 season... Why extend him now when he is still signed till next year?

I think it pretty clear Petrie's time should be up here. The Warriors haven't had a competent GM is over 10 years, but last night we saw Thompson dominate & Jimmer not even get off the bench.
