Trade proposal down the line..

Sixers fan here. Looking ahead but, last year there was a lot of discussion regarding Iguodala around draft day in a deal with the Twolves for the 2nd pick. Assuming the Kings don't strike gold and get into the top 3, would you guys be interested in something like

Salmons, Hayes and your First for Iguodala and our first (18-20) Range

You would be getting rid of 2 pretty hefty contracts and receiving a top 30 player who can impact the game with defense, and playmaking and be efficient without shooting the ball.

With the Sixers draft pick you can still pickup a quality player in this loaded draft..
Tyler Zeller, John Henson, Dion Waiters, Arnette Moultrie are a few that could potentially be available

It seems good but that would mean the Kings would have to probably trade Tyreke and they would be thin on bigs. I don't think Iggy/Evans would look good unless Evans actually learns how to shoot. I would consider if the Kings dont get top 6.

I'd be all over that unless the kings get the #1pick. I'd simply move Evans to 6th man role or trade him. Maybe send Evans and the sixers pick and Jimmer too if they want him idk to Atlanta (they can move joe johnson to sf) for Josh Smith.

Thomas
Thorton
Iggy
J.Smith
DMC

That's a playoff team for sure!

Iggy, Smith & Boogie would be a beastly frontline. I'm hoping Petrie can pull off a good trade this summer, that might be the best time to make a big move.

I'd be ALL OVER THIS.

This draft is tricky. Outside of the Davis (and MKG in my opinion) everyone else is a huge gamble. This draft is completely stocked with high potential type of players, but little guarantees. The 2nd or 3rd best player in the draft could easily be the 25th pick opposed to the 3rd pick.

I would pull this trade immediately, and look to move up from the 18th-20th to the 15-16th range and target a Kendall Marshall.

Reke again, I would either trade him for equal talent in a different position/role, or move him to the bench to let him ra** the 3rd and 4th guards of any other team.

PG: K. Marshall/I. Thomas/T. Evans
SG: M. Thornton/T. Evans
SF: A. Igoudola/T. Evans
PF: __________/J. Thompson
C : D. Cousins/_______

I can live with this.

Where is the trigger?

The value is fine, but the only issue for me is how poorly Iggy fits with Tyreke. I just don't think you can have two wings without outside shots.

It could work out nicely if we obtained a sharp shooter. (Ray Allen, Joe Johnson, Brandon Wright, Kyle Korver, Dorell Wright).

Bring Tyreke off the bench and go with a 3 man wing rotation.

SG: D. Wright (30 min), T. Evans (16 min), Other (2 min)
SF: A. Igoudola (32 min), T. Evans (16 min)

And where is Marcus Thornton? And also, that would still mean Iggy and Tyreke playing together for long stretches in the game, and probably both being in towards the end.

Edit: And I'm assuming by Brandon Wright, you meant....somebody other than Brandon Wright.

Wtf, I have no idea who I was trying to type or why I wrote Brandon Wright at all lol.

Well, I would imagine you would move Thornton. The idea would be to get a legit shooting threat that would compensate for Tyreke and Iggy's lack of shooting.

Regardless, unless we are in a position to draft a player that we believe is a sure-thing...I think a trade like this would be something we have to pull the trigger on. Just because we have Tyreke and Iggy, doesn't mean we have to keep both. This trade saves money, allows us to amnesty Garcia, and gives us one of the top wings in the game.

Our team needs talent. Period. Get talent and then try to find ways to maximize or redistribute that talent.

No need to amnesty Cisco. The last year of his contract is a team option, so next year is essentially the real last year of his contract.

Otherwise, ehh. I'd still like to make moves to make us more open to Iggy first.

Depends on who is there at the Sixers pick and who is there at the Kings. I'd rather the Kings end up with Barnes than go after Iggy. If the Kings were interested in Iggy I'd much rather see that obvious deal being brought up every time you see an Iggy to Kings trade: Evans for Iggy. They basically provide the same role for a team with Tyreke being the greater individual offensive talent and Iggy being more athletic.

Thats a good point. Probably why Evan Turner looses his minutes to Jodi Meeks alot. Meeks isn't better by any means but the guy can light it up from downtown, Turner and Iggy are not threats from outside.
Jimmer can shoot, but clearly would be a liability on defense to play anymore than 25mins at this point. Tyreke for Iggy would make sense for both teams. Philly would be getting a hometown hero who can potentially be that "Star" like player around a great cast of role players. Kings get Iggy and can draft a guy like Thomas Robinson with their pick.

i would give you anyting on or roster exept cousins for turner. I might throw in a lottery protected pick and/or eat a bad contract ala brand
