Rumors is the kings are looking to try to sway him to sign. I like this signing for the right price. Would be a nice defensive sf.

That be nice to have him on the Kings. How was he last year on whatever league he was in?

Stat wise he is 13/6.7/2 while shooting 38% from down town and around 60% from 2. Around 1.5 blocks and 1.2 steals per game. All this while playing about 26 min/g.
Extremely solid and ideal in my eyes.

Yeah, he would be great as a shot blocking/defensive SF on this team, the problem is, all the money we would have into the SF position.

Do the right thing Maloofs, over pay him for 2 years. Give us a shot at the 8th seed and prove you want to stay here.

That would be awesome but I don't see it happening. As long as the Magoofs still own the team they'll probably stick close to the league minimum salary.

I am pretty sure that had an offer on the table last year, he just didn't except. I think it was an 2 year 16 million dollar deal so I do not think money will be a huge issue. If we did sign him it would not surprise me if he was the only person we signed.

I don't know. We offered him plenty of cash last year. He just didn't accept it.
But yeah. I don't know if he's the long term option, but he it would be nice to get a guy like him to improve a little now.

I don't think that he's a realistic target.

AK47 has been in our radar for a while now. Doesn't look like he wants to come here.
Tayshaun Prince is another possible target

You act like the Maloof wants to spend money.

Doubt they go after Prince. If AK has improved that shooting than by all means. I just don't think he wants to come back to the NBA.

Go for it Geoff! Not getting my hopes up though. I can see him getting something similar to what Gerald just pulled in.

Interesting for sure. The only advantage maybe is that the Nets have GWall, might take them out of the running.

Rumor was the Kings offered him 9 million a year last year, so it was close already.

AK would be ideal for our 3 spot
however, maloofs are broke and are intent on trying to run this franchise into the ground by going bare minimum

AK47 would be a nice addition. If we are able to sign him I could see where a Garcia/Calderon swap would be benificial.

This would be a perfect fit. I like our chances now that Nets signed Wallace. I also don't see a contender going after him most of them have their 3 spots filled.
Imagine that a great defender with a all around offense game and has been in the league for while that would be a good leader for this young squad. What are the chances we can make this happen?
