Why the hell would we do this instead of just re-signing T-Will? We would have got the same production from T-Will, and especially after Cousins publicly came out and said he wanted him back.

We're done for the off season though. No more $$$ to do anything moving forward, I'm sure. SF is all set with Salmons, Johnson and Garcia.

And again, another player who needs the ball in his hands to be successful. There's a reason why he was traded to Toronto and was quickly benched and forgotten about there.

Let's keep in mind this appears to also be why we traded our second rounder for nothing this year. So we could trade another second rounder for James "Playing in the d-league as a 24 year old wing, 49% TS last year" Johnson.

At least we won't have to worry about being disappointed next draft when we trade another high 2nd round pick for cash.
By the way, JJ is a career 30% 3PT shooter. But hey, at least it's an improvement over Salmons....

He had a decent season with the Raptors last year, but he needed to take 7-8 shots per game to average 9 points. So another mouth to feed in Sacramento...

The second-round pick the Kings gave to Toronto in exchange for James Johnson, source says, was for 2014. Nice pickup, I say.
At least we didn't give up anything for him and he expires at the end of this season, but I can't imagine Cousins is going to be happy about this. He's 6'9" and the Raptors fans said he was their best defensive player last season, so looks like the Kings were going for a black AK-47 with his height/size.

Wait, we didn't go after Dorell Wright because "he didn't seem a big enough upgrade with our current SFs" but trade for James Johnson!?!?
WTF???
We could have gotten Dorell Wright for peanuts (could have given a future 2nd just like with this JJ trade) but Petrie thought JJ >> Wright apparently.
Is this our "big changes will come" from Petrie from all of that talk in the last couple of days?? ***** this ****!!!
