Who Else is Fed Up!

I'm tired of being in the lotto!
I'm tired of seeing potential
I'm tired of going to the games and getting bad cell reception (three diff carriers Vz, Sprint, T-Mob). With 8,000 people on a hotspot it doesn't work either.
I'm tired of playing "what's the next move" to make it better
I'm tired of Grant Napier and Jerry Reynolds

At the end of the day I'm tired of this franchise.

Wait...I got my free blackout T-Shirt on opening night.

I don't care who runs point. I don't care who under/over dribbles. I don't care who the franchise guy is! These are winning franchise problems. We don't have that! The only player who deserves marketing is the logo and Slamson. None of these guys have earned anything! None of these guys are really NBA ready. Yes they have raw NBA talent, but they don't have NBA IQ's.

When will this franchise be functional? We don't even have good concessions! I don't even blame the building on that as the food trucks kill Arco. This is just all bad. When does it get better???

Who is actually shocked here? I'm pretty sure all of the "Sky is falling" people last summer and before like me already laid this out pretty plainly. While the ownership is what it is, this is GEOFF PETRIES mess. I find it very odd and interesting that he's apparently been AWOL this season.

At least we are seeing some of the ways the pieces can be used. Jimmer is allowed to be Jimmer, Hayes is finally defending the other teams top scoring big and put in a position to pass, while Cousins is the man without question for this franchise. Just have to hope Petrie can get out from under JT's deal when moving Reke and clears a spot for TRob, or TRob gets minutes to show what he can do and he maintains some trade value if they want to keep JT. Wasting another top pick for no other reason than he's gets no chance to play just won't work this time. Then there's the coaching part of it. Time to find a guy that will use these players for what they are. Smart is finally letting Hayes play some Princeton though, and he needs to let Cousins, JT, and TRob do the same, you're "PG's" are all right there. Petrie built this team around players who not surprisingly need a system like that.

For the 1,000th time, this isn't a pick and roll team. They need structure.

Me, me, I am! Me. I'm mostly annoyed by the Maloofs, though. Bleh. Can't stand them. Can't wait to see them leave, whether the Franchise goes with them or not. Hopfully not, but what ever. What can you do, ya' know?

I feel you ICMTM, but the King Dogs (though expensive) are bomb.

But yeah, I no longer see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Man, what a horrible...horrible deal that was. Ugh.

I'm beyond frustrated, especially considering I have a NBA League Pass subscription. This team is just poorly constructed. As much as I want to, it's just not in me to jump ship. I'm just a loyal person by nature. Things are going to turn around one day, but when the fudge is that day gonna come. Lillard sure looked like the man against us, smh. I think if T-Rob was gone, they would have took him.

I'm a big Reke fan, but man the kid is just not improving. All this talk every off-season about his jump shot and he's still doing the same 'ol lame fade away jump shot. Again, I'm just super frustrated with the down spiral this franchise has taken.

Look on the bright side, we could be the Pistons or Wizards right now. I agree though this team isn't going anywhere with this current structure that we have, and I'm talking about from top to bottom. I will still watch every game of the season like I have been for the past 10 years. I'll just lose all my hair by age 25.

Pistons and Wizards will finish rebuilding before the King's.

  People are finally seeing what I saw 1-2 years ago. This organization will NEVER go anywhere. You cannot build a team without have any idea what your direction/style/plan is going to be. All of our pieces are just random players thrown together.

Do you guys remember in the movie Miracle, when coach Brooks yells at his team "You think you can win on talent alone? You don't have enough talent to win on talent alone." That is literally exactly how I would describe this roster. A bunch of talented players thrown together with no coaching, fit, or capabilities considered at all. You CANNOT win like this. It's impossible.

This roster needs to be completely rebuilt. You don't have to get rid of all of the pieces, but the organization needs to start making trades, signing free agents, and drafting players based off fit.

The Maloofs aside, all the problems we are having point at one person, and that's Petrie. Some may say Smart, which I don't disagree with, but he hasn't been terrible. Fire Petrie, it's time to get a new face in there picking players. Many have brought up the Trob selection, that's a prime example of him picking players based on talent and not fit, which he has been doing for the past 5 years. Any GM basing the picks off of fit would have chosen Lillard or Barnes over Trob for this team. Who cares if he was projected to go #2 and fell to our pick at 5. We just resigned JT why would you draft Trob? We need a new GM!

It sad this team/ownership has fallen so far. It's hard to even watch this mess. Bad owners who just want to get out of here, but need some serious financial help. Petrie has made too many mistakes to still have his job. Smart should be an assistant coach at this point, but his cheap contract will keep him employed. Our best player Cousins has a lot of growing up to do & I can't see him staying with the Kings long term. Who would want to play for this organization? At this point I just wish they would sell the team & get out of town. I would rather watch the Warriors who have owners willing to spend & will build one of the nicest arenas in the next few years. Kings fans deserve a new arena, new owners, & a team we can be proud of again.

I can understand the sentiment against Petrie, but seriously, going after the JT signing of all things? Our frontcourt has been a bright spot for us this year, suspensions aside. JT has been a rock in that frontcourt. The bigs are NOT our problem right now.

Our issue is the mess in the backcourt. The fact that we have 6 guards one and one SF who can't shoot. And ALL of those guys somehow have a green light to dribble and shoot whenever they feel like it. There are no roles. There is no lineup chemistry. We are playing slashers next to slashers and shooters next to shooters. Too many guys want the ball. And Smart is all too happy to give it to them, team consistency be damned.

We never see Jimmer next to Tyreke, even though its such a natural combination. We never see Isaiah and Thornton in the backcourt together. Outlaw and Garcia randomly show up in and out of the rotation. JJ thinks he's Lebron on offense. Brooks has his minutes carved into the rotation. All of this reeks of a coach who has no idea how to define ROLES.

Gregg Popovitch knows how to define roles. Here's what he has to say about it:

“We talk endlessly about players before we bring them in,” Popovich said of both the coaching staff and members of the front office. “Whether we draft them or (through) free agency or (through) trade, (we) make sure they are people who can accept roles, understand that they are just part of a whole and that they realize that it’s not just about them, but it’s about how they can make the group better.

On the Spurs, you never see Danny Green or Kawhi Leonard dribbling around for 15 seconds of a shot clock. The ball goes through Parker, Ginobili and Duncan. Everyone else fits their game around those three. If they don't, they don't play. Smart is the complete opposite. Everybody has their turn. Consequently, nobody knows what to expect. One play could be Tyreke's turn, the next its JJ, then its IT, then its Cousins... its just a revolving door of headbanging frustration.

Its pretty much Paul Westphal all over again.

i'm a Magic fan, so i obviously don't have the same emotional investment in the team that you guys have, but i think the Kings have a lot of good pieces, and a lot of potential. i honestly believe you're just missing the person who can put all those pieces together.

i think SVG would actually be a great coach for your young team. i think he'd do a great job putting all your pieces together, and instilling a strong defensive ethic. in fact, i think he would arguably have more weapons at his disposal with Sacramento than he did in Orlando (DeMarcus + Reke + Thornton + Thomas and potentially Robinson).

you guys are lucky to have some quality talent that you can either rebuild with or trade for other rebuilding pieces. as a Magic fan, we don't even have a player that we can identify as the future of the franchise. sucky place to be.

When you're running out of cap space and just drafted a similar player with a top 5 pick and then watch it look as fugly minutes wise as you thought, no, that is a major problem and a overall view of the situation with this team in it's entirety. Most of the head scratchers are proving to be true. If this was the first time and this didn't look like a complete repeat of last years team with too many score first mentality players then it would be one thing but Petrie went out and compounded the same issues this team had with personnel last year. I personally believe JT can outwork that contract, but not on this team, this team has too many other needs in areas he won't provide and he could excel in areas where he won't be allowed to here.

The team is a dissaster, pure and simple. What irritates me is Petrie not doing certain moves that could have improved the team.

Not drafting Lilliard or Barnes?? Both give us shooting which we need to space the floor.

Not signing Ryan Anderson? Great fit next to Cuz IMO, especially on this team.

Not trading the #5 for Kyle Lowry? That would have given us great young PG. I love IT but Lowry would be a big improvement.

The only real hope for us this year is if DMC becomes the beast we want him to be. He's shown up 2 games this year and we won those games, the other 7 games he hasn't be here or he was but wasn't a factor.

We could have had him for less than our 5th pick. He was traded for Forbes and a future 1st rounder with protection I think.

I haven't given up on TRob by a long shot, but imagine Leonard and Lillard on this team.
