Kings have suspended DeMarcus Cousins indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team.

Trade this piece of ****, I'm sick of him.

Why would we trade him when he has absolutely no trade value now?

Fire Smart and sack Petrie while we're taking productive steps forward.

If we trade Cousins, there's no reason why we shouldn't fire Petrie immediately. Let's look at our last 3 top 5 picks.

Evans - consistently hurt, has never improved since his rookie season. Wasn't even offered an extension on his rookie deal. May bolt after the season, but we can match if we want.

Cousins - Slowly working his way out of town

T-Rob - Kenny Thomas 2.0

Not to mention the JJ Hickson fiasco, that whichever way we look at it, was just terribly played by Petrie.

And the fact that NBA players and agents look at Sacramento and think "STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS", and rightfully so - and while the Maloofs are at fault here too, the majority of that is absolutely on Petrie and his string of horrible moves/roster building.

Hopefully this helps him shape up. Glad they aren't all airing it out like Westphal did.

So don't trade him, and let him remain on the team, constantly complaining and being a distraction to the rest of the players in the locker room? It's not going to get better, his trade value isn't going rise because he continues to show that he isn't going to change. Enough is enough.

I've got no problem with Cousins being suspended at this point. That said, if this is leading up to a trade, I am terrified of what Petrie might do.

You aren't playing for anything this year, you didn't resign Evans, you shred salary and get a 1st. If you want Evans, you can always offer him a contract in the off-season. Ellis has a PO next year, which most likely he will opt-out.

The explanation is even worst then the initial trade proposal.

I'd trade Cousins to the Celtics. Cousins needs a strong coach and veterans to keep him in line. The Celtics have that. Cousins for Bass and filler.
