Stern picking Sacramento?

If this is the case, the fight is already won, Stern has more than 8 voters in his pocket. Who knows if its true, but I have been kinda feeling this way.

I don't think it's in the best interest of the NBA to move a team in this manner. Stern knows the issue has been the Maloofs and not the city of Sacramento. I have said this for years on this board the only reason there has not been an arena deal is because the Maloofs have wanted no liability and all profits. They are the only entity that has prevented an arena from being built.

Their arena could open in 2015? How is that physically possible, especially with Seattle's dreadful weather?

Seattle is at least a year ahead of us. Hanson has bought land & got approval for his plans. As soon as they secure a NBA or NHL team they break ground. No money issues only the long shoremen appeal is in their way. Sacramento is a different story.

You're right. It's literally impossible to build anything under gray skies and light drizzle. It's amazing Seattle even has buildings at all.
