Round 2.
Has Ray been active before? I thought I remembered seeing him in a suit for other games.

Ben McLemore is so much fun watching him play. And already Luc is stepping up on the defensive end.

A miracle we're only down 7 with this rebounding disparity.

Vasquez, thornton, salmons and ppat all such disappointments this year. Not impressed with Vasquez at all. If we are going to have a guard get beat off the dribble everytime might as well saved money and used jimmer at least the jimmer can score. DMC, IT and bmac that's our future core everyone else ba bye.

I thought we would be able to use Vasquez's height to post smaller guards in the post, use that to our advantage. So far this year I haven't seen it.

Outlaw has played well this year IMO. It's not saying a whole lot he was dog doo last year.

Rebounding and lack of intensity killed the Kings.

Lack of talent at both forward positions is killing us. Thornton as well.

Malone is going to make changes to the lineup next game.

Some real talk from Malone. Hopefully this means more Ben and Luc.

Yep, Malone went off after the game. Dude doesn't sugarcoat anything. Calls it what it is.

Well there better be changes after the last 2 games.
We were killed on the boards again tonight, leaving us down 99 to 64 in the 2-game series and can anyone else get to the line apart from DMC?
From the 2 games we are 23/29 from the line, DMC is 16/21. So in 2 games the rest of the line up went to the line for 8FTs....IN 2 GAMES! That is absurd, but when you look at the majority, well all, of our plays it is just jump shots, nothing with anyone going to the hoop.
I must say I had bigger expectations of Vasquez in regards to his ability to set up an offence and distribute the ball. And when you add in his horrid D you may as well, as another poster pointed out, insert Jimmer in there for some time.
Another couple of things are very clear, and it wasn't just this game that pointed it out either, but Ben should be starting and playing good minutes, if he gets tired during the season then so be it, rest him at that stage, he is already our best perimeter defender despite some very rookie moments which are obviously going to happen.
There is a lot wrong with this team, DMC needs that 2nd scorer in the starting line up and Ben is certainly the player that has got it, just need to run play for him.

Glad to hear Malone tell it how it is: some guys on this team just care about themselves, and if their games aren't going well, they check out. I'm looking at you Salmons, Thornton, and Thompson. Can't believe these are our highest paid players after Cousins. Those three just looked like they were out there to collect a paycheck. No heart, no production.
Salmons should have been amnestied a long time ago, and should be buried on the bench right now. Thornton got his payday and lost his hunger. Somebody needs to light a fire under him. Maybe giving McLemore all his minutes and slapping him with some DNPCD's will do the trick. And Thompson's effort is just unacceptable. I don't know when he turned into a me-first player and forgot how to try to grab a rebound, but he's looking like a scrub.
All I want to see is guys compete and take pride in what they're doing out there. Play like you have something to prove. Outside of Cousins, our big money players aren't showing me that.

Happy to see Malone is pissed.
I'm guessing Moute and Ben start next game.

Ben McLemore has come a long way since summer league. If he keeps developing this fast he'll be a major part of this team by the end of the year.
