Looking forward to seeing how he plays in his first ever start. Hopefully he gets 32+ minutes.

As terrible as Salmons has been, we need him to start to do some point forward, Mclemore's better suited receiving than facilitating.

@James_Ham: Malone said the lineup is changing, but the rotation is not. Not totally sure what that means or if there was gamesmanship involved.

I also think Jt is starting

Unless there was a change today, I’m hearing that Ben McLemore will join Jason Thompson as new starters tonight vs. BKY

No reason to play Pat if he can't hit a shot, at least JT does a few things decently.

Good for you Malone, pulling the trigger.

It will be interesting to see how much time MT and Pat play tonight. Chuck will be needed some for Lopez, and heck Hamady N'Diaye may as well bang for boards, blocks, and has 6 fouls.

Wonder if Pat will get a coaches decision DNP.

Cousins vs. Lopez/KG should be interesting.

B-Mac has been working his ass off. He deserves the start and I hope he's not too nervous!

I hope the jimmer gets some burn we usually seem to be a better team when he is on the floor.

And this is a perfect example of why it's all system and coaching vs. who starts and who doesn't. McLemore is just being plopped down in the same role Thornton was, very little in the way of sets that get the SG's on this team any good looks. There has to be some plays they've worked on to get the SG's on this team a good look.

Well so far this year it appears Thomas is no longer a pizza guy.

To a large extent I agree but you still have to have the right type of players to run the system. You can't just put any player in role or system.

B-Mac got the start because he actually gives a damn and can play a team game, unlike Thornton has shown.

Looks like the move to the bench woke Thornton up

And that's why Cousins gets no respect from the officials.

Looks like just 6 turnovers for the game. Nice to see the fellas playing team ball. Good effort as well.

Hmmm... lets look at what happened again here. Roles reversed, situation reversed. Coicidence? I think not. At least not entirely.

Soon after I posted that, they actually did run plays for Thornton. Chuck Hayes is a shooting guards best friend and then the rest took off after that. All it took was some screening to get Thornton going and once he did, surprise! Thornton is back.
