Seems like every stadium Kings have visited during this current road trip has had low attendances, despite the home team having a winning record.
I'm starting to think fans just don't want to watch Sacramento Kings basketball. Lmao.

Jimmer does not look NBA ready out there. Nice lead, he goes in, TO's on offense, burned on defense, go down. Put Thomas back in, we grab back the lead.
Gay looking good on defense. He's grabbing those steals by getting in the passing lanes. Had an impressive block just now too.

Good to see McLemore out of his offensive slump. Hitting threes, catching ally-oops. That's what I like to see

LOB CITY. All 5 of IT's assists are ally-oops to Gay or McLemore I believe.

Man, I despise the way Malone is having this team defend the pick and roll. Is it any wonder they've been obliterated from 3 in previous games? Just hope Miami doesn't stash their shooters at the corner, if they do and they hit their shots, this is going to be UGLY.

And when Miami takes it away, lets just hope they can start playing in the half court.

Some more ping pong balls tonight so I'm not too mad, but giving up 122 points is just unacceptable for us.

But what's the point of another top 5 pick? Another mouth to feed? We need role players who give effort and sacrifice their game to fit in, like Doug Christie. We don't need another player to take 10-15 shots a game. That's why the Rudy Gay trade was a mistake, in regards to the players we have now on the roster anyways.

Why not when the top 5 players could all possible be the best player on this roster? No way can this current roster with defensive role players go anywhere.

I'm tired of the lottery and all the anxiety that comes along with it. So much uncertainty. Sigh.
I'm all for the "win now" mentality. I was hoping these trades would translate to wins.

Rudy Gay is a good all around player, and there is no problem trading scrubs to attain him. Rudy is a veteran who can play D, rebound, facilitate and has been fitting in well offensively so far. He's not the problem.

These trades weren't intended to translate to wins this year when we are a bad team but hopefully in the future.

These trades where for one purpose only: inject new blood into this team without any long term financial commitments

Rudy Gay would not make this team a playoff team in the West even if he was good, our bench is terrible overall. We just have to deal with the fact that this is a building process and we are gonna have to deal with some losses now to get wins later through the draft and free agents. Don't forget not too long ago this team was LED by the Maloofs. Nothing worse than that.

The offence when run through Cousins with dashes of Thomas and Gay looks terrific but man the team has to make higher IQ defensive plays and the give more effort, we just need defensive effort and we are fine we got more than enough fire power.
Even though we are losing I'm still loving seeing Williams/Gay on the team with Cousins becoming a better teammates, his assist numbers and making players like Ben Mac better these last two games is a great sign.

Totally agree with what you said above but I'm totally in disagreement with this. Gay is showing he has the potential to fit in and be a crucial piece to this team as a number 2 option. He's showing more of a complete game too. At least now this team has 2 legit talents to build around in Gay and Cousins. Maybe a 3rd in IT but they'll have to dump some salary to make that likely IMO. That's the most important part when starting out. The only part of the trades for both Williams and Gay that I didn't like is that in the process this team got rid of 2 or 3 guys that could really help in those role playing areas. Oh well, time to start looking to fill that hole again. Looking around though, there just aren't a lot of options.

That and take a stab at any available talent. With this teams assets it was clear from the get it would have to come in the form of a turd to polish at the very least. So far, I'm digging both Williams and Gay for this team. Wish they would play more together though. If you're going to lose, might as well find out of your most talented unit can actually work together. Never did see Reke, Thornton, and Cuz get a fair shot together.
