KINGS trade Rudy Gay

NETS trade Paul Pierce and Plumlee

Why? Nets get a playmaker. Change is needed and woth Pierce's career winding down they are able to get something in return.

Kings do this move to free up cap space to sign IT next season.

Might as well just cut Pierce right away because no way in hell would he come to Sacramento or give any effort if he is forced to stick around.

If we wanted an expiring contract we should have just kept our trash, Hayes was the only one on the books after this season

Debatable. But as things currently stand, imo getting an expiring isn't a bad thing for Gay.

This team finally has some legit talent at SF, I still think Pierce can go, but I say stick with Rudy and see what he and Cuz can do moving forward.
