With the NFC Championship coming up do you feel like rooting against the Niners is like not representing your city a little bit?

Not at all cause the niners have nothing to do with Sacramento, completely different city. I lived in Seattle 12 years and became a hawks fan while living there so I'll be rooting for them. I never felt a connection to the niners growing up here cause like I said they are not a Sacramento team. Hell if you want to get technical by saying they are close to Sacramento then everyone here should be raider fans since they are closer.

I don't think you need to root just by geographic association.

I am however a huger niner fan, so go niners!

Ya I don't feel that way at all. Although I'm a Kings, Niners, Giants fan. My roommate is a huge Kings fan but roots for the Cowboys and St. Louis Cardinals, and might be the biggest Niners hater I know.

I'm a raider fan so I'll be rooting for the Seahawks to win.

They've been humbled enough. I wish them the best unless Hansen is involved.

I have no rooting interest. I like Pete Carroll and love the way the Seahawks play football. I just would be rooting against the 12th man.

Don't care about either team in the NFC championship really. Will be rooting for the Pats because I enjoy watching greatness (Brady) even though I am not necessarily a Pats fan

Yea I kinda do. It made my decision a little easier when I read Seattle was prohibiting ticket sales to the NFC Championship game for anyone who lived in California. That's just a bum move.

Which is what made me think about what the way Seattle fans carried themselves during the four months when they felt they had a team.

Sacramento is a niners town. Even Mayor Johnson said so! Always have been, always will. I wouldn't be shocked if there are more niners fans in the sac region than there are in bay.

Anyway I'll never root for anything Seattle ever again. Seattle can blame Sonics fans for doing such an awful job representing their town. Seahawks fans are fast becoming part of that too.

I had read a tweet that more tickets from stubhub were bought by people in California than in Washington. So much for the 12th man. LOL.

Never! Go Niners, Giants & Kings!

I'm a big Niners fan, and to be honest I think Niner fans are just as obnoxious, if not more than, Seahawks fans.

I know KingInExile is a Kings fan in Seattle, so I wouldn't have a problem if he rooted for the Seahawks because of his fandom from before. I only really have issues with Sonics fans who were ok with taking the Kings from Seattle. There were Seattle fans who weren't OK with that, fans who I have a great amount of respect for.

I can't recall a time when Niners fans threw food at an opposing teams injured player as he was being carted off the field.
