Not watching the game but:

Thornton: 1-6 FG
BMac: 1-5 FG

Seems to be a recurring theme for them for the past 3-4 months by now.

PS Rudy Gay is a beast by looking at his stats, 6-8 FG 15 / 4 / 4 with not TOs at half time.

And Thomas is shooting too much

good game midway through the third, 63 up. Gay looking unstoppable. If he continues this rate through the rest of the season I wouldn't be surprised if he opted out to sign a long term deal this summer

Trade the goddamn Pizza Guy. 9 of 24. Are you kidding me? I understand he has to shoot more with Cousins out, but HOW ABOUT GETTING OTHERS INVOLVED?!

I dont think there is a worse help defender in the league than thompson. He always fails to rotate appropriately. Dont get me wrong he is a very solid man defender. But, he is an absolute liability on defensive rotations.

thomas is shooting and forcing too many shots tonight… had a brain fart moment when he circled around and lost time of the shot clock…

Gay got that last shot exactly where he wanted just didn't fall. He was playing well all up until the 4th unfortunately.

I know Rudy went cold in the 4th but give credit to the spurs they are a top 2 team just about every year but Isaiah needs to take on a proper pg role without cousins we need others getting involved in the scoring load. If we were to have any chance of winning games without cousins Isaiah needs to be dishing out 10+ assists with atleast 16 points let Rudy have most of the scoring load people can't stop him much lately they are sending double or triple team and he's gonna find the open guy just look at today he had 6 assists and 0 turnovers

IT is a score-first/pass-second player. I don't think he is going to change that. That's his nature.

But we should expect IT to take less shots and taking smarter shots though.

Played well for 3 1/2 quarters, go up by 10 points, lose the game late.

Yep, those are our Kings.

Of course it sucks we lost the game but there are many positives to take from this losing streak. I believe with Cousins being out it is showing and validating the true strengths and weaknesses of this team. First of all, I believe Coach Malone is telling IT to be this aggressive and basically take as many shots as he can because our 2 spot is horrible atm. Secondly, Gay is playing amazing. It has been apparent in these past 2 games that he kills the opposing team for 3 quarters and then they learn to double them. If they end up doing that with Cousins being in the middle, it is going to be very nice for us. Lastly, we see that Landry doesn't really fit with this team. Overall, I can't expect beating some of these teams with our current roster, we need a capable 2 guard and an upgrade that either solidifies our 4 spot by replacing JT as a starter or getting a consistent big off the bench.
