Almost game time. I never really cared about the Knicks, but hiring Phil Jackson gives me reason to not like them now, especially after the interview he had with Sam Amick. Always trolling Kings fans.

IT a no go? Looks like evaluating what his missing presence would mean to this team starts tonight

Or the Knicks can't defend a streetlight.

Seriously, how's this no pick and roll offense looking? I haven't seen them run a single one I don't think and this team is rolling. Keep it going coach. When they get settled in this spread motion offense they'll be golden.

Nah, look at the passing. Look at the movement. No pick and rolls. Letting Cousins and Gay run things. There is a noticeable difference, one I've been harping on for the whole year and beyond.

Give props to Outlaw for the spark. I have pretty much disdained him since Petrie picked up his contract but he is looking solid so far tonight. Royce looks out of shape, but I am rooting for him

Started to run some PnR at the end there, yielded no baskets.

Outlaw is hitting his shots but he did the same thing last year. Horrible most of the year but magically start hitting his shots in the last part of the season.

I don't think Malone knows who Royce White is. He's having him set screens and play off the ball, if that's what you're looking for, wrong guy. I hope he gets a chance to handle the ball and make plays for his teammates at some point.

Maybe, but the Knicks gave up a 51 point third quarter to the Lakers recently...

Would this be happening against Indiana or San Antonio?
And speaking of defense, our looks awful right now after some decent defense in recent games.

What I'm talking about that the Kings are doing right has nothing to do with anything but them. They're cutting off the ball and doing little things like spreading the floor and creating opportunities for each other. It's the offense they're running and how they're running it. Not all of it was great but that they are at least looking to pass and move is the important thing. The key is that they aren't running an ineffective two man game that involves a lot of standing around and watching from their teammates.

Their movement? Their attention to floor spacing? Running plays through Cousins? The coaches lack of running a pick and roll every play? I sure hope so, they should be doing that against every team in the league and every game of the year because their talent and personnel dictates it.

Now they're starting to stand around. They still don't have anything down that is able to get them easy looks off a simple double team. That's a problem when you have rotating lineups and young players that are getting significant time and looks in the offense for the first time so Malone deserves a pass.
