Sixer reportedly considering drafting Exum at 3 and trading MCW for a top 10 pick or package him with their #10 if they think Exum/MCW would not work. That backcourt would have a lot of length but terrible spacing with the rest of their roster.
I don't really like that for Philly. MCW/Parker or Wiggins sounds better but maybe they can trade MCW/10 to Orlando. Really depends how much they like Exum. MCW is 23 while Exum is 19 and many believe Exum has a lot more potential.

What do you guys think about him on the Kings?

I'm not sure, I assume his stats were inflated do to being on a terrible team. But they are crazy, they should take the BPA they are in complete rebuild mode, figure it out and fine tune later. And keep him around at least.

I honestly think that it would be too soon for the Sixers to give up on MCW, especially how he produced this last season.

I can see where Philly started this "bounced around" idea. Sitting at #3 they run the risk of losing their guy they plan to draft in Wiggins or Parker. If Embiid falls due to injury Philly may find themselves sitting at 3 looking at the BPA of C and PG, putting them in a pickle having drafted MCW and trading for Noel last season. Sixers grade on Embiid may say "back problems, run!" leaving them to take Exum. I think the Sixers evaluation of playing Exum and MCW together is correct, it wont work. Trading one of the two is their best option, keeping the one with most potential, and apparently that means MCW is the odd man out.

Im quite sure this is all due diligence by the Sixers FO, crossing the t's and dotting the i's. I bet Parker or Wiggins is their guy.

As for the trade, Im not sure how I feel about 8 for MCW. He is a good defender, floor general, but isnt a great shooter. If the Kings do trade for MCW that most likely means the end of Thomas in a Kings uniform.

Part of me thinks that he could be the next Doug Christie, but then the other part thinks, "yeah, maybe 10 years from now".

Count me down as a no.

MCW is high IQ defender, right? If so, I would do it without question. Would trot out:
Isaiah - MCW - Gay - Thompson - Cousins

I think MCW was the best of a weak rookie class. I think he may even be an all star player. I just don't know that he's the guy we need to bring in.

I'd rather pick Gordon, Randle or Smart at #8. Not sure MCW will ever be a good shooter.

Don't think he's the right guy. I think he had absolutely inflated stats in Philly, and I don't see him being all that good down the line. Probably a solid starter, but not in our situation.

With that said, under the right circumstances (I don't like what's available at 8 and other more veteran pickups aren't viable) I may consider it still.
