Draft Day/Today's Trade Rumors

Pete has been busy! Since there are a lot of rumors I'm going to make a new thread for the day. Some of the things out there:
-Kings trying to move up to get Embiid
-Kings trying to trade for Jrue Holiday
-Elfrid Payton will go either 7 or 8 to LAL (we should call them the LOL's) or Kings (Via AndyKatz). They worked out Randle and Gordon 2x as well. #PleaseTakeRandle
-We know about Josh Smith.
The best place for rumors is Twitter, but for a nice convenient place to find a lot of news is Hoopshype. Follow this link:

I think one thing that is also apparent is we're looking for either a game changer or a PG.

Pete is a unique and fascinating GM. I believe him when he says he is shopping something or involved with ideas. Seems to be some sort of calculator/computer punching the numbers away after feeling out the basketball people, talking with other teams, and has the balls to take a chance.
Everyone seems to want to talk business with us. Let's hope he can work some magic.

Between the World Cup and the NBA Draft today is a very exciting day! Even shutting down the office to go watch the games, sweeeet.

Those Donkeys on the trade & transaction thread need to eat some humble pie, thinking a fella pressing 30 on a 1 year deal was worth a lotto pick without eating some trash, too good to eat some Laundry.

I still think we are in coin flip range of Josh Smith.
Thompson + Williams for him.
Pete probably running those Rondo scenarios, feeling out other teams with PG's.
Wish Conley was possible but that's going to take some remarkable wheeling and dealing.

If they prefer Payton they could trade down and still get him. I'm hoping for Smart, Vonleh or Randle.

I had to post this. With Embiid slipping maybe getting 6/8 in this draft is a coup for Boston? Rumors. Sean Deveney says it's BS but hey...that's why I created the thread.
