Board Etiquette

Post#1 » by ICMTM » Fri Jun 27, 2014 4:32 pm

Some things:

1. We are are all FANS of the Kings. Keep in mind when discussing the team we all want the team to do well. We're not going to agree on everything, nor am I pushing agreement. In fact argue!

2. When having an opinion be factual. Understand your opinion is just that.

3. Sources. If you're going to use a source link it. If you have a "source" and their information isn't accurate then stop using it. It's a reflection on you. Anyone can be a source, but if you treat the latest rumor as fact all the time you just look bad.

4. Rumors/fact/fiction. It's okay to discuss anything, but keep things in perspective. If someone breaks a story "Kings are in talks to acquire DMX" please talk about it. CONSIDER THE SOURCE IT CAME FROM as well. That will tell you how to react to how likely the outcome will be. David Aldridge, Wojo, Spears, Amick are usually always right on the money. The ESPN guys stir the pot.

I am a mod, but I don't like to moderate. Be kind to each other.

We're acquiring DMX!?!?

We understand that emotions can run wild, especially on a day like Draft Day, and we moderate with that in mind. That said, it's not acceptable to be rude to someone because you think they're full of it, or for any other reason. As ICMTM said, be kind to each other. Our fans and our board have a good reputation, so let's keep it that way!
