Gotta love his passion for the opportunity. And summer league showed us exactly what he can/what we need him to do. Rebound and be a shot/dunk swatting presence. And most likely for cheap.. *golf clap*

Good. Now this draft turned out a bit better, this is like getting another pick in the draft with the way he played in summer league.

from what I gather the kid is a late bloomer? Sounds like he wasn't heavily recruited from high school and bounced around in college a little. It doesn't appear anyone knows what this kid is supposed to be yet? I think that's why the three year deal? No need to buy into the 2nd round after all.
Brad Miller went undrafted. He was alright...

He's smaller than that though. Sam has full center size.

Watched a lot of OSU games he played in over the last couple of years. Loved his defensive energy and IQ. I don't agree with the Dalembert comparison at all because Moreland doesn't make the dumb mistakes that Dalembert usually makes.
