Grabbed this from Kingsfans.

Team physicians, led by Dr. Jason Brayley of Kaiser Permanente, admitted DeMarcus to the hospital for treatment and rest. His condition is improving daily and a full recovery is anticipated.

Cousins will not be in uniform this weekend.

I hear ya, got seats for Monday myself, and usually go to less than 5 games per year, or have been since the good old days.

In the meantime lets hope Malone starts a less offensively inept lineup. These Thompson/Hollins Thompson/Evans pairs aren't working.

That's what I was thinking. Landry would make a lot more sense in the starting lineup. Granted he might get abused on defense but watching Hollins get totally ignored by Toronto was depressing. We should be going small most of the game without Cousins, otherwise we have way too much trouble scoring.

Without Cousins we look so pedestrian its not even funny. We don't have another big on the roster who's good for even 10 points a night. That really needs to change even when Cousins comes back.

Cousins out another 7-10 days as injury continues to rip apart a surprise season, which I didn't want..

Welp, I guess it's time to get back into a development mindset. Take whatever opportunity this is to put the team's weaknesses under a microscope and see how to improve them.

I thought it had to be something pretty serious to keep him out this long. The one thing I've never questioned is Boogie's desire to play. #BounceBackBoogie

If there's a silver lining, it's that this team needs to learn how to play well without the main guys. The Kings have been fortunate that Boogie has been pretty sturdy is entire career, but **** happens and they need to be prepared. This is a great opportunity for learning and growth in times of adversity. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger, or I hope so anyway.

We weren't likely to do better than a 7-8 seed, and that was optimistic, Pete should be getting a good idea on several things right now. Hopefully this will let us better prepare for the long term.

I think it is obvious we are not a good team at all without Cousins. We have to make some changes.

Ugh... our season is over. We probably can't even beat the 76ers without Cousins. Another 7-10 days puts us in too deep of a hole in the west. Dude's GOTTA be in the MVP discussion if we could manage to come back from this whenever he does get back.
