http://www.nba.com/kings/blog/injury-up ... d-demarcusLeft Knee bone contusion... may shed a little light on him not playing. Not sure if this is new as I heard he just received an injection for inflammation.. but could be the reason he went from 100 to 0 real quick and we may have to not blame Malone outright for not playin em... #WhenItRainsItPours

I hope Omri gets better, he has been a bright spot so far.
On another note the Omri/Dwill positional battle has been an interesting question since camp. Omri on a nightly basis is the better player since he has a few years under his belt and is playing the best ball of his career. DWill is still only 23, and if the former 2nd pick is showing good things in practice it makes it hard for Malone if you can't play them at the same time. If management is of the understanding that this is a rebuilding year, and they see something in Dwill or want to shop him, I can see why Malone/management might feel it is better to take a look at the upside over the veteran, if this indeed has happened or will happen in the future (not sure of Omri's injury situation). Not saying I agree with it necessarily.
Finding time for both heading forward, if DWIll merits time, will be interesting for Malone

I love the way he has played when I've watched him. Strange that he went from a three point shooter (2.5 attempts per game just last year at 35%) to a guy who almost never shoots threes and lives around the rim now.

The reason Casspi wasn't playing is because of the GM,
not Malone.
He will not have any playing time with that GM,
It is obvious now.

It's a coincidence that some players apparently being relegated to third string have also seemingly simultaneously starting experiencing injury issues - Omri, Ramon, couple of the bigs. Might just be chance
Omri was balling, I hope things work out for him
