I hope this game turns out like the last 2 times we have played these Nuggets! Get em'

Hopefully we've made a realization and turned somewhat of a corner with Corbin at the helm... good chance to pick it back up on this homestand.

I may be overreacting to one win, but I expect to win games like this right now. Let's see if we can sustain that momentum this home stand and get that confidence again

Nurkic is a good looking prospect

Need to up the defense in the second half. Nuggets are shooting at a 54.5% FG (& 44.4% 3PT) clip.

Improper start to the 2nd half

What am I watching? 16 point swing to start the 3 quarter

The Kings defense is still designed to concede certain shots and when teams are hitting them, it's going to be hard to compete until they stop.

This is disappointing.. I thought we were turning a corner with that OKC game. But I guess new system might take time

exactly this. Denver also seems to be using a similar defense. They are giving us every mid range jumper we want, but they pack the paint and prevent penetration. We might want to run stauskas, mclemore, collison, gay and cousins out there for extended minutes to see if we can start making some 3pt shots. It might get them to open up the paint a little bit.

Sad to see Cousins go into butthurt mode after Nurkic got the best of him a couple of times. I think I've figured out what this team is lacking: grown men.

I don't mind Cousins getting frustrated, or "butthurt", after Nurkic showed DeMarcus he can't stop him... Cousins isn't 100% but is clearly trying his best.

Throwing up junk because you can't accept a minute of being outplayed isn't "trying". It's the opposite.

If I get butthurt at my job, my butt gets fired.

Junk? pretty sure he took good shots, albeit his jumper hasn't been falling.

Cousins is the best Kings player on the floor. If I'm going to point fingers at what went wrong tonight, I don't start with blaming Cousins.

On a side note I agree with you guys, Nurkic looks to have a solid foundation to build a career.

Yeah, even in the last game he looked good in limited minutes. He's got some serious potential.

Yeah, and there is one major difference between the Kings and the Nuggets, they have a premiere athlete in their front court, the Kings do not. If you are going to rely on help and recovery defensively you better have the legs to get back out to the perimeter. This was also a case where the athletic ability and above the rim capability of the opposing front line really hurt the Kings. Kings desperately need to upgrade the athleticism at PF.

Did you hear Bobby Jackson say that during the pregame? I was kind shocked, don't typically see a host say the word butthurt too often.

Cousins had some highlight reel blocks. Happy to see Nik hit some shots. That small ball lineup where McCallum was on Aflalo was really stupid. The lineup I did like, though, was Collison-Stauskas-McLemore-Gay-Cousins. I think that could give a lot of teams fits. In terms of defense and rebounding, though, it's lacking. But it's not like we can put a perfect lineup on the floor with the current personnel anyway.
