In January he has been .419 from the field with a 4.1/5.3 assist to turnover.. Tonight I just tuned in and he is 3/16 so far against the Pacers..

I though that some of the meningitis effects may have still been around earlier on or he wasn't quite in form from that set back, although I know many disagree with that.. Is it a lack of enthusiasm for Corbin? Is he being taken out of his sweet spots in the new offense? What do you think?

If he's still winded from the meningitis, then he's not taking care of his body. I don't think his issues are related to health though.

Whatever offensive system we had disappeared, so it's back to the ISO ball we've become far too familiar with the past decade or so. It makes us easy crazy easy to defend, and of course Cousins wants to do everything himself, which leads to forcing. The forcing leads to frustration, leading to more forcing, and then more frustration until it becomes an unstoppable snowball.

Hopefully the All-Star break gives everyone a chance to regroup, have some fun, and let some of the frustration evaporate away.

Yeah, I hope that break is good for Ben too... It's been a long stretch for him... I'm trying to keep that confidence

He was bad today but still manage to put up 20 & 19.

Dude is ridiculously talented (top5/top3 in terms of talent) but he has had a poor January and still hasn't adjusted to all of the changes since the firing of Malone.

I think the all star break will be good for Cousins.

Don't forget his ankle issues. I guess he wasn't even for sure going to play in the last game. Overall you're also seeing teams double and triple team him. He's not playing well, but his teammates sure aren't helping either. A lot standing around watching is going on when he does get doubled. Part of that is probably coaching. I can't see a pro coach not being able to consistently gets good looks out of double teams. I mean, isn't that what every team wishes for? That should be an open look or a touch at the rim every time.

I think it has a lot to do with pace. No longer are we feeding the low post in a deliberate slow-down sort of way. Everything feels rushed.
