Vlade drawing a line thru underdeveloped players

The Kings have stated that they want to compete now for obvious reasons including - owner used to success, new arena opening next yr, happiness of star players that have signed extensions and restless fanbase due to several FO blunders.
Jim Crandell interviewed Vlade Divac who said he doesn't think Kristap Porzingis is ready to play meaningful minutes in the NBA...
That would seemingly take him off our big board or atleast move him down several spots. Most mocks have him 6-12. Vlade also said they are looking at 5-6 guys they figure could be available and the posititons they would focus on where 2-3-4. but quietly added that if a great player at 1 or 5 was there they would take him as well.
Alot to read between those lines. If they assume the Towns and Okafor, Russell and Mudiay are gone it seems like the FO has circled, in no particular order: Winslow, WCS, Johnson, Hezonja, Johnson and ? (the 6th player could be Booker, Turner, Frank the tank, Dekker or Lyles).
I had never been a fan of Porzingis. I don't think he will be rotational player for 2-3 years due to size and durability. Hearing Vlade's statement is music to my ears. Yes, someone may luck out and take him 9-15 and in a few years have Pau Gasol but they may also end up with Jan Vessly. I'm happy there is a slimmer chance we roll those dice.
