Pete and Malone really didn't like each other down to a personal level. Wonder if this was a kill two birds with one stone move for Pete go back to a place he knows and deny Malone a job. Not matter what level or what business you're in, it always comes down to some high school sh*t!

Now I wonder if Bratz gets the promotion, they move Mitch in to the gm role and keep Bratz doing the contracts or they bring in someone new?

Interesting Pete took the Denver job over the St. Johns job. The fact he is expanding his resume to the NHL probably had something to do with it... I'd have to think that aspect is strictly cap related.

Not sure how the logistics will play out but getting back Malone will recover a lot of confidence in the Kings fan base, imo.
