It wouldn't be shocking to see the Kings trade Cousins.... But to the Lakers? Orlando is a real threat I'd think. I just don't see them having enough.

Vuc, Randle, #5?

But boy just sit back for a second and imagine if the Kings did trade Cousins to LA and he goes on to have a HOF career.

Also just a thought if a trade with LA means #2/Randle I'd have to think Kings take Russell with the #2 pick. Karl wants to run and Okafor is no Cousins athletically

If we traded Cousins to the Lakers I would honestly stop watching basketball.

The Kings are under 0 pressure right now. Cousins is under contract until 2018. If by 2017 the Kings are still in the basement? Then yeah, you start to entertain offers.

Lost in the Cousins rumors is that we are shopping Nik.

The Lakers would be much better off focusing on ways to improve their team that don't involve wishing and dreaming. The one thing Vlade has been pretty straight forward about is Cuz. Next!

It's extremely disturbing to me that ESPN is so corrupt that they would publicize unilateral trade interest from a big market to a small market star to bully the Kings into trading their star.

We must assume now that either Stein is getting paid by Lakers or he is a hack.

Even if the Kings trade Cousins the fans would revolt if he went to Lakers. Vlade would have to be an idiot he isn't.

Is there nothing you Kings moderators can do to stop the general board moderators from allowing this stuff?

That would change things, but I just don't see Cousins doing that now unless he and Karl had something happen recently.

I've never really known Stein as a hack, but I guess it's possible. I'm just going to ignore this story, and I think the rest of us should, too, do the whole don't feed the trolls thing.

I find that unlikely.

He's under contract for three years. But hey, if he doesn't want the money, he's a free man. He doesn't need the Kings permission. Just renounce his contract.
