Probably same deal as Stockton got, which was 2 year / $856,996 contract, including $11,937 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $428,498. In 2015-16, Stockton will earn a base salary of $845,059. Stockton has a cap hit of $845,059. Can be cut without hassle or cap issues if need be if I'm correct in the deal he got. Next year we will have to qualify him and he becomes a RFA or he is UFA if no offer extended.

Should be decent if he was signed for the minimum. I can't see any possibility he signed for any more.

Didn't this guy have a foot injury that derailed his career? This is not the first signing I wanted to see. Oh well, it's probably a very small contract, and we could use a 3rd stringer to replace Nik.

I'm ok with it. Added depth to SG. Looks like he has a decent enough 3pt shot and can handle the ball/get to the rim. Will be a nice rotational filler if we can get Matthews. Not super exciting though.

Yeah, he got hurt when he was with the spurs in 2012. But he has played 80 games in 2013 since and sign with a euro team in 2014 and scheduled to play in our summer league this yr, so I think the foot is okay now.

Also, in the sactownroyalty article ICMTM linked above, the author stated, "Meanwhile, Kings fans who were opposed to signing Monta Ellis no longer need to fear."

Just makes me wonder if any of sports writers we follow are members of these forums and we don't even know it. Just made me think...

He started for us in the first tanking year and was kind of a weak link. Shooter who didn't shoot all that well and doesn't bring much otherwise. Has ok size I guess.

Maybe he's improved after a year in europe. Don't expect too much from him though.

From what I gather this is for bench depth.

Anderson is in a 3&D player mold who doesn't do those particular things well. That's the problem.

From what I've been reading, he had a solid year with Žalgiris Kaunas. Lets hope he comes in the best player that he can be.

James Anderson is not going to make or break this team especially if it is for the league minimum (which I'm assuming and hoping it is). If we're able to sign Matthews then Anderson will be the 3rd SG behind McLemore. I can guarantee he's better than Stauskas right now but that's not saying much. We need to fill out the roster and that's what he is, filler. Realistically he won't play unless garbage time behind Wes (praying) and Ben. That said he was a 1st round pick (20th overall) by the Spurs. If the Spurs saw something then there's likely something there.

i think i watched every Euroleague game he played. He can do a lot of things but is kinda mediocre at everything. he can pass, rebound and score a lil bit but isn't elite at neither of those thing. He is very good at splitting the double team tho.
