I forgot which thread it was in but yeah he's been waived before his contract was guaranteed.

Pretty disappointing considering his guarantee amount. Might have had to happen though so he can either play full time in the D-league or catch on with another team.

Too bad we couldn't get an un guaranteed second for him, should have done it after Koufos.

He would have been nice as insurance but he wouldn't have played much with us going small. I expect Luc (if he gets passed the physical issue) and Dukan to step into that insurance role now. Not a bad thing as they can both stretch the floor. Moreland was still on D-league level after summer league so we couldn't up his money or guarantee playing time. Hope he catches on somewhere or at least goes back to Reno.

I thought his SL performance was enough to merit a roster spot or at least, keeping him through training camp.

I hope this one doesn't bite the Kings in the future i.e. Wesley Matthews

OLD NEWS...right on top of things, aren't you ? Guess another SAC-DEN that didn't have enough value for either team (Heat or Nuggets)...

Not a fan of seeing him waived. Really like what he showed in limited time especially in summer leagues.

In all likelihood, he forced Vlade's hand by not agreeing to extend the guaranteed date. Tough to see he go, you're right but if you gamble, you have to be prepared to lose. Wish him well and wish the KINGS greatness.
