Kings @ Magic | Nov 21, 2015 2 PM PT!

The game starts in one hour.

Rudy Gay has a strained shoulder, so he is out. Let's see what ridiculous starting lineup Karl throws out next.

Hooray! Willie is starting. But, if George dares start Rondo and Collison, I will be REALLY MAD. It should be Rondo, Ben, and Beli.

I want stability in that starting lineup. If Willies the starting 4 of the team, he's the starting 4.

Orlando is a underrated team and they have been playing well. We just don't have the cohesion yet.

Ben has been playing better, which is encouraging. Although still needs to fill up the total stats (rebounds) a little more

I expect a patented lose by 6, make it close until the final two minutes, and hopefully be a team by the end of the season that can win these games.

Starting lineup:

Rondo, Collison, McLemore, WCS, Cousins

--

Ugh. Not only is Karl sticking with the Rondo-Collison backcourt combo but he apparently likes it enough to have them start together... Even though I dislike a Rondo-Collison backcourt, we should still get the job done tonight.

Rondo & Collison combo again? Collison doesn't play at his optimal level when he is playing as the off ball guard in the starting 5. If anything, Karl should have let him be the designated ball handler for the 2nd unit.

BMac at SF? Hmm.

DC hasn't looked sharp since coming back

Willie keeps biting on the fakes

How did I know we'd get the ball to start the second? Still can't win a tip

It seems to me like Collison is trying to play like Rondo, but he sucks at it. So many horrible passes.

It's tough for Collson to keep his confidence with Rondo supplanting him, but he needs to be better

That was only the 2nd time in the entire game so far that they've given the ball to Cousins in the post. That is also the only way the Kings can draw double teams. Giving Cuz space to drive from the 3 is good, but drawing doubles in the post is something you can build an entire offense around.

This might be the first time all year that we have held a team under 48 points at the half. The defense has still been awful though.

OK, enough with the Koufos/Cuz combo, it's just an open 3 waiting to happen.

Yeah, it's another strange game where the other team has just missed open 3 after open 3.

I will say though that I've been watching Ben McLemore a lot and he's working his butt off getting around and through screens. Also, while he's made some bone headed plays with the ball when you separate yourself from the game it really is shocking how good he's become with the ball considering how he looked coming into the league. His dribble moves are becoming almost combo G level. I never thought that would be possible with how bad he was in his first summer league.

OK, 2nd half rule and rule for life, DON'T PLAY THAT 16 SECOND SHOT CLOCK CRAP. When the Kings slow it down (which is a strength of Rondo BTW) they control the game. When they tried to run earlier they got stomped quick. The chemistry isn't there yet to run with teams as the main game plan.

Karl really needs to call a play when they come out looking for offense. He's just letting them rely on their predictable system and it causes them to go on huge scoring droughts.

Thank god we didn't have a meltdown. gave up the lead but we were resilient enough to fight back and build up another solid lead.
