We are currently the 9th seed in the West, and we're not tied with anyone either, AND a win tonight will make us the 8th seed, also without any ties.

As usual, though, this will not be easy, and there will be extra pressure on them tonight.

It's that time to get things on track here. This would be a great win. Hopefully they come out with some fire and stick to what they do well and focus on what they can do well.

Blazers are on their 2nd game of B2B and the Kings had a sizeable rest between the holiday break.

Ed Davis & Damian Lillard are out.

Please win Kings. Don't come out like it will be a cake-walk because..it isn't.

That doesn't make me feel any better. The last time they had a break it gave them a chance to practice more 5 out sets.

I loved the first play call Karl made to start this one, a nice little pick and pop play. That's something they can build part of their offense around. Cousins was wide open right at the free throw line. Normally, that shot will go down.

If the opposing team has a big that can shoot you can't play Koufos and Cousins at the same time, period.

It sucks when the league has shifted to shooting 3's and your team cant defend it.

Blazers without Lillard? We don't have the identity to safely take care of anyone yet

I couldn't contain my laughter when Kosta showed off his jumper.

Collison got his pocket picked right in front of the Kings bench. Bet he hears about that one tomorrow.

The disturbing stat of the night has to be that the Kings are shooting nearly 60% and are losing the game.

The three areas they need to address are the turnovers (obviously), the 3 point defense (what's new), and not fouling on shot attempts.

There was an interesting 3 PG lineup Karl went to in that first half which included some pretty impressive post D from Curry on Vonleh. I'm not too against going small if they play defense the way they did when Curry got posted up, Rondo came down and just took the ball away. If they are going to gamble going small they probably have to gamble going for steals anyway.
