My spirit was broken last night, in terms of believing in this particular roster with Karl this year, but strange things have happened. I will of course continue to watch, maybe not as obsessively until they can win me back over.
I think we will make it close until the mid 4th

3 team fouls in the first 21 seconds setting the tone of the game already

See how Cousins walked back on D after he was blocked? That's why he'll never be great.

I mean until Cousins stops playing around the perimeter on offense I have zero expectations.

I'm not happy that the game is pretty much channel turning worthy this close to starting time. 16-7, 2 teams at two different energy/talent levels so far.. Kings in penalty. Guess it's a short night

Rondo out with 3 fouls. Karl keeps Cousins in with 2. Risky

collison a couple bad plays.. There will be a spotlight on whether he can energetically accept being the backup all season if he remains

Belinelli, who I can't deal with, with a stuck ball opening look

And now Cousins picks up his 3rd with 2 min left in the first. Guess Karl was going for the big start... Welp. . . .

Kings wanted to get this game over with..if they all can't get on the injured list with gastroenteritis might as well foul out as early as possible

I'm totally down with Acy as the backup C moving forward. You saw this team finally play much of the defense Karl has said he's wanted to this year with that unit.

I really hope the coaches are noticing James Andersons defense. This and the last game have shown he's the only thing they've got that can truly defend at SG/SF and he's pretty freaking good at it too.

Wow. That was one heck of a duel there.
Too bad McLemore just let Curry have that last one. smh.
