First game of March.
Will we march to victory?
Gay and Seth will be out, unfortunately.

On the bright side, these are McLemore's last games with the Kings.

Are they seriously going to give up 60 in the half to the Grizzlies? smh. Too bad it's probably too late to even try and in instill a new vision at this point. That potential swing of momentum never even got a chance to get up to bat.

I apologize for bagging on the Rondo Collison lineup. I failed to realize that Ben and James Anderson were much worse options.

Uh oh, Rondo twisted his knee right there. Hopefully he's OK.

Actually it's an ankle. It didn't look too good either.

It's better that it's ankle and not knee but bad regardless.

Forgot to post my thoughts on the game last night, but same story as its been all season:
-Opponent point guard this time Conley destroyed us and mostly Rondo, partially because Rondo runs around looking for a quick steal by doubling which leaves to a wide open three by somebody(somehow the Grizzlies didn't kill us too badly) because the rotation gets out of sorts and becomes extremely slow.
-I've defended Cousins many times and will continue to do so but the guy needs to sprint back on defense every possession. Simply laughable Cousins isn't in the television screen for 10 seconds sometimes getting back on defense.
-Offensive "sets" laughable again.
-Overall defense was an absolute joke with the rotations being the main problem.
-To end things it's not even embarrassing or disappointing at this point those feelings ended about a month ago, it's expected. Can not wait for the day Rondo is off the team.
-Sidenote: The lack of Karl standing up during games is also extremely irritating.

Rondo is by no means a stopper but there are ways to help him on pick and roll assignments. The entire defensive orientation is flawed and very little is done to help that area of the game for any of the Kings guards. Karl needs a true stopper at PG and players that can switch for his defensive ideas to work.
I watched an old Bucks game from when Karl was the coach they were showing on NBATV the other day and that was a team capable of doing what he wanted. He played small but he was beefy from the 3-5 with Big Dog, Darvin Ham, and Ervin Johnson. That won't work with the team Vlade put together. I still think if they committed to switching that's the teams only hope, but then he inexplicably plays as small and weak as possible when he does switch. It's just bizzare.
