Several Sacramento Kings logo, including a new primary logo (top left), were filed in a trademark application to the European Union Intellectual Property Office by NBA Properties Inc., on Friday, April 22, 2016. It was previously reported the Kings were planning new logos for their inaugural season at Golden 1 Center.

They're unofficial, but as a fan of the current logo, I like these. Old school, but updated. I think they would look great in purple and black. The lion logos are somewhat reminiscent of euro soccer clubs, perhaps taking advantage of the growing popularity of soccer in Sacramento and the country (and their ties with Sacramento Republic FC).

I actually like it. Especially the one in the bottom right corner logo.

I really hope they move on from purple. As for the logos they have my approval across the board. It's really hard to buy apparel when you think your favorite team has a crappy logo and ugly colors.

Yeah hopefully they go to powder blue. Really like the logos though.

Big improvement over the current logo. Really like the first main logo and the last alternate logo. Hope they stick with purple and black or at least don't go back to blue and red.

They're okay, I guess. Not a big fan of the typography, but I guess it's not absolutely terrible either.

That's why it says they are just mockups based on the Kings removing black in the color scheme.

Yeah, I had a feeling that the color black was merely the placeholder for the true color(s).

I hope they incorporate some sort of the purple, gray color scheme. Heck, a majestic gold wouldn't be too bad either, imo.

I didn't get my wish to move of from purple but at least its a darker shade. Love the silver ... I saw this idea on Twitter and I agree, I hope the Lion logo far right- which Sac Twitter account says represents the fan base and home court advantage- is our center court logo
