Dave Joerger!

In Vlade we trust! Great signing. I didn't see the years/money we are going to give him but I am sure it will be a good deal. Hopefully, Joeger will have similar, if not better success than Malone had with Cuz seeing how comes from Memphis who had two great bigs.

3 years for 12 million. 4th year, 4 million team option.

It's not just Joerger that was a great hire. The assistant GM, Ken Catanella, was also a great hire by Vlade.
For the first time in a long time there is positive vibes here and strong, qualified individuals with important voices on the bench and in the front office.
Let's hope Vivek stays away from it all and let's the basketball people make sound basketball decisions. If the last two hires were any indication, he seems to be doing just that.

I'm most interested in seeing how the coaching staff is filled out. Hopefully we can nab Elston Turner as associate head coach but who fills out the rest of the staff? Do Corliss Williamson and Nancy Lieberman stay on or do we go fresh all the way?

So Caron Butler said a few weeks ago his player option would be determined by who the Kings hire as coach. Well Caron, what's it gonna be?

Thank god for Joerger. McMillan was more of a pipedream so the probability of looking into Marc Jackson was pretty damn high if we were to miss out Joerger, imo. Sheesh.
