I'll be patient Papa.

Just 18 and with WCS and Cuz in the mix I know it may be tough for you to get some floor time.

I just hope in 2-3 years it was worth it.

Just for you who ask how tha happen(sorry for my English in advance).Papagiannis did an open workout with scouts from half the Nba and some coaches, they say he blow scouts mind with his shooting and they all start to ask around.Calathes(played with Papa) was your coach player, coach of Panathinaikos was Sasa Dordecic(friend and ex teammate of Divac),and of course Peja who is half Greek. Now you may or may not like him(i can see the fit problem) but because many of you here or Social media ask yourself why even if they want him didn't take him late its because many teams wanted him(Chicago, philly.phoenix, atlanda, boston)before 22.Good night 2 you and good morning to me(and sorry again for my English :)

We don't know much about him as a fan base, so thanks for the thoughts.

With Cousins here and WCS in development it makes it hard to understand though for now.

Someone mentioned Vlade didn't think he'd be around at 22 though.

He didn't plan to be in this year Draft if he wasn't a lotto pick and no one believe here he will stay because as all the 18 years old players in Top Europe teams like Panathinaikos(6 times Euroleague champion)didn't play much(only in finals took the rotation place of bust Radoulija). his problem is space defence and pick and roll but he is very young.Good night.

Can't believe they wasted a lottery pick on this guy. Can't believe I tuned in for another lottery for this.

I am very happy with this pick. Why does there have to be such an uproar of drafting so many bigs? We can Have DCUZ/Willie/Papa/+1 as a 4 man big rotation. He seems very athletic and runs well. Make a little trades by dumping Koufos/Acy/Mclemore for a nice Guard, sign the other guard. Boom, very good draft day. WELCOME PAPAGIANNIS!

Because they could've taken him with the #22 or #28 pick and used #13 on a guy that actually fits a position of need.

It's hearsay but another poster claimed Vlade didn't think he'd be around at 22, despite what the mocks said.

Also Vlade didn't see anyone worth the 13th at guard.

So I guess we will see.

I hear you but we missed on the guys we were aiming for. I was hearing that Vlade was hinting big towards trading. I mean, I can't sit here and think that no trades are in the works for guards. You don't have all these bigs on a team and do nothing with them. There is a lot of time left. We collected assets and now we deal them around for needs.

The **** Papagiannis gets is totally unjustified, especially on twitter. The guy got some real undeniable talent and is only 18 years old. I have seen him play since he was a kid and he is considered one of the best Greek upcoming younglings.
I will link you the thread i made in the Bucks forums about him 2 days ago about Bucks having interest in him at 10. He literally im pressed lots of teams that wanted him on the team.

Papagiannis would never drop at 22 or 28.
Give the kid a chance and you will love it.

I'm sure he's talented. I've seen his DraftExpress videos and his workout videos (although I personally don't think that workouts mean **** but whatever). Yes he has great size and he's only 18.

But there were SO many other guys the Kings could've taken. This guy makes absolutely no sense for our roster. He's going to be our 4th Center FFS. Even if they trade Koufos, he's going to be the 3rd Center on a team that (at the time) had 1 PG and 1 SG, neither of whom are capable of starting on a winning team. And you're wasting a lottery pick on yet another center???!? He wasn't even the highest rated Center on the board!!!

It makes no sense at all. They say they expect to build around Boogie and make the playoffs, then they go draft a Center for the 2nd year in a row when they have MAJOR holes at every other position BUT Center. It's mind boggling. If this were any other team doing this, all of you would be asking wtf they were thinking.

Also, forgive me for not giving them credit sand assuming they have some bigger move planned out that's going to fix anything. Please, tell me, what the hell has Vlade done so far as GM that makes people give him the benefit of the doubt? His first summer as GM was a disaster. Now he's starting his second summer the same way. Why should we assume he has some great plan and everything will work out?

Ok the GM didn't like what was available with the 13 as far as guards are concerned.

So you'd prefer the GM to take someone he didn't like out of need?

He said he believes this guy could be an all star.

He took what he felt was "long term" BPA to me.

Doesn't seem complicated. Sure I was expecting Baldwin myself too, but they worked him out, it wasn't like they didn't consider him pre workout.

Vlade is probably the only guy on Earth that thinks this guy is going to be an All-Star.

But hey, if you still want to make excuses for this team after 10 straight losing seasons, be my guest. More power to ya. I'm done.
