WCS actually locked him down completely when he was switched onto him in the 2nd half all his abuse came against AA/Skal/Reke/Temple. WCS defense on him was easily the highlight off the game for me without WCS, Giannis probably goes for 50.

When Malachi comes back Joerger needs to play him at the 3 a ton to see if he can help be an answer there. If Bogdan comes over both he and Malachi might be able to hold down that spot but I think the discovery process starts now with Malachi.

I said this earlier and everyone acted like I was Jar Jar Binks or something haha
We'll have to work something out because of the obvious glut at 2. Malachi makes the most sense because of his length even tho he is only 6'6 just like Temple and Bogdan.
Thinking about the position. How would you guys feel about Rudy coming back after he promised to opt out? I know he is looking at that 14mil like...

Temple, Bogdanovic, and Malachi all have the length to play SF easily but the demands physically would be the question. That's why it would be nice to draft someone like Isaac or Bridges since they should be able to play both F spots.
As for Rudy, who knows, maybe the exit of Cuz changes things for him. It would be hard not to see how he wouldn't be the "go to" guy on the team. Still, I'm pretty sure he'll opt out because once Porter lands somewhere he'll be the next in line for teams looking to make any kind of splash they can at that point.

Yeah, great point bout Porter. But he is a RFA as is the other SF option for WAS (Bogdanovic) so one of them will be overpaid by WAS and one overpaid by another team IMO. Off the top of my head, I'm not sure how the player option works in terms of a date he has to commit or opt out by but like you said he could be highly coveted on the market if he can get healthy and in shape enough to convince a team.
Also the possibility he opts in because he knows the market won't pay him 14 and we try to move him, once again dependent on how the player option timeline works.
I have doubts about Isaac because of his non NBA ready body. Mostly based on a convo I had with you, I believe, outlining that we only have 2 yrs to maximize with these young guys and I don't know if Isaac will be developed enough to help in the way we'll need in the SF position. Of course I think he'll be great in time but Tatum, both Bridges, Anunoby, Brooks and even Ojeleye are all better option IMO to produce right away. But this is should be in the draft topic...

I still see a lot of Rudy Gay in Isaac. If Rudy did stay he could be a good mentor for Isaac since I think they have similar games. OG was one of my favorites early on but since the injury he's just disappeared from everyones radar. That could be an awesome move down pick I guess.
From they way it sounded Rudy should be pretty well on his way to recovery before FA so I'm sure that will play a big factor.
