Free Agent Predictions..who of us get it right?

Jason Jones stated as I thought all along that the Kings are looking for a PG, SF, and PF.

We have draft predictions...here's free agent predictions.

I'm putting my wish list and who I think we'll actually sign.

Wish list:
PG- George Hill
SF- Otto Porter or Joe Ingles
PF- Paul Millsap or Serge Ibaka

Who we'll sign:
PG- Darren Collison
SF- Bojan Bogdanovic
PF- JaMychal Green

Maybe we can create a poll?

Reason for my predictions. Kings will pay Collison more on short term than other teams and they like that he's familiar with the team. Hill will go to a playoff team. Bojan will be available because Otto will be matched. Kings showed interested in Bojan last year. Ingles will stay in Utah. Two Bogdanovic's! Green played for Joerger and is younger, poor man's version of Millsap. Millsap and Ibaka will get paid and go to playoff teams.

The Kings will have to strike out somewhere. I think it'll be difficult for then to land a decent SF so i went with Allen. Joerger connection and he's in his last leg so offering him a decent 1-2 year salary could persuade him to sign.

LOL I just always think I'm right. No I think they'll throw a huge contract at Porter and he'll see it as a young team he can grow with yet be just enough ahead to lead. Collison as much as I love the idea of Hill provides veteran leadership and here's the deal...he's openly spoke about his desire to be here. That's huge. He wants to be here knowing the plan in place. Provides scoring and a good mentor to Fox as he's played behind some of the best point guards in the league. Green for obvious reasons.

EDIT: I really think we will have some success this offseason and look to add quality vets. I think Vlade will target a few players and fall short, but he's got money to spent. I see him getting Darren to come back on an overpaid 1+1 deal to help our rookies. I can see him luring Ingles over with an overpaid contract so he can be or glue guy (as I think Hayward is gone). Lastly I see Joerger recruiting Randolph. He can help our young bigs develop, but most importantly, he can help them toughen up. I would absolutely see this as a success and pretty realistic.

Haha this dude said Jeff Green haha

All 3 of those guys are who you would go down the free agent list and say they can play but nah not on my team. I know because I did it. They are also of the caliber where they can start the year in the starting lineup and get benched and not have it affect the lockerroom.

Wishlist:
PG-Ty Lawson (can guide Fox to develop his rim attacking/playmaking skills as a one of most effective PGs in NBA without 3 point shoot, also he can sign for a way lower money than Collison)
SF-Otto Porter (starter at SF 33-35mpg, even if he cannot develop and gives what he gave this year, you can live with it assuming 3 year max)
PF-Tolliver (veteran leadership, not gonna steal significant minutes from Skal/Wcs, can stretch the floor that is something our current bigs are not capable of)

Reality:
Collison (1+1 10M+)
Deng (SF/PF) (salary dump)

Shelvin Mack, Amir Johnson, Evan Turner via salary dump trade. Mack and Amir Johnson are both very high character guys who I think are the types of people our staff would be targeting. They also are not so good that the rookies can't overtake them for minutes and don't have egos that would be hurt by helping the rookies become better than them.

I totally forgot about Amir when I did my list. You are definitely right with him. He also has the Scott Perry connection (he drafted him to the Pistons). I could totally see your offseason happening.

Wait a minute. I thought the entire pretense of the question posed was that if the Kings are indeed looking to spend FA money at PG, SF, and PF what are your predictions with the options out there.

If choices weren't necessary then my wish list would look exactly like Eisenheart's. :lol:
